Long time reader and follower of the board, but just joined. I plan on being a frequent contributor to the board. Like most on here I have been an avid fan of Nebraska Basketball since I was born. I remember going to the games at the Devaney and sitting in the most glorious wooden bleachers anywhere. Favorite moment was easily Jamar Johnson's three in the corner to beat KU. I was 5 at the time and I remember to this day two KU fans standing in front of us and crumbling in tears when that shot went it.

Anyways enough of the chatter. I have season tickets up in the 300 level and gave my tickets to the Wisconsin game to my nephew and his mom as he has had to go through a lot with his Crohn's and Celiac Disease over the last couple years.

With that being said I am looking for two tickets for my son and I and was wondering where might be the best place to look. I would look before the game but I don't really want to try and scalp tickets with my 5yr old. Thanks in advance. Go Big Red #Nebrasketball

go to stubhub.com  they are partners with nu and they email the tickets right away so you know there valid....there pricey, but its the biggest game in the last 20 yrs, if not school history, so $100 a ticket shouldn't be much if your really that big a fan,  people have been paying that for shitty football games for the last 10 yrs

This.

Or craigslist.  It gets a bad rep, but if you are smart and safe about it- it can be the best bet.

On the other hand, teaching him how to deal with scalpers is a life lesson..much like riding a bike.

I hope you find a way to take him!

Since I was 10, I've been dealing with scalpers. Usually to no name teams, but damn it was a good way to get 3-5 bucks out of it and that ended up being my food money. May not be the best people, but they usually come through.

you guys will be surprised but there will hardly be any tickets being scalped on site,  this is because its so easy to sell em on stubhub in advance now that most people with extras just do that, football is different cus there almost 90k seats,  basketball only has 15k seats in there,  and the last 2 games there have been tons of people looking for tickets and very few sellers,  if you really want to get seats just pay $200 bux for a pair on stubhub,  not rly worth walking all over the arena for 2 hrs sunday and crossing your fingers that you will be one of the lucky who finds seats for maybe $50-75ea.......no one will be selling for face trust me

I think you would definitely be a good candidate for this.

I really wish this game would've been able to be televised on CBS. What more could you ask for? The second and fourth place teams in the Big Ten, hashin it out for a 1 seed and a spot in the tourney. Plus one of the greater venues for a college basketball game. Would've been a fun one to watch

Ben remember when Cam and Morgan and you would tell the scalpers you only had 3 bucks and you guys where so young they would sell them to you for that? Worked every time until Morgan pulled out that $20 one time.;)

Classic Morgan move. I was going to get 25 for a ticket I was selling once and the guy only wanted to pay 20. We flipped a coin and I won and he gave me a 20, and then I basically forced him to give me the other 5. Cam should remember that one.

I remeber that one. Cam tried to get a hold of to go to the airport last night, but he thought you might be working because you didn't text him back right away. We do have us some fun stories don't we?

Ya sadly I was working.  Second time I have missed us win on the road. The first time was Michigan state. But ya, some of the best times I have had, have been in Devaney with you guys.
