hskr4life Posted February 23, 2014 Report Posted February 23, 2014 We needed that one guy to turn the program around... Who woulda thunk it that that player was Terran Petteway! Wow. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 Yep - always talked about one difference maker taking us to the tourney and two allows you to go into the elite group. We are getting closer and closer. Quote
AuroranHusker Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 And, don't forget a visionary leader like Tim Miles at the helm. I know that Miles & Petteway are on their way to leading this team to the promised land! Quote
Norm Peterson Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 I hate to sound like a broken record, but I think we're just better than the teams we're bringing into Devaney until we get to Wisconsin and then we're getting them at home. I said if we're good enough to dance, then we're good enough to beat these remaining teams. When others were saying we had tight margins or whatever, I was saying if we're as good as we think we might be, then we will win those games. And we have. And I said it before but I think we're good enough to steal one of our remaining road games as well. With the Shields/Petteway two-headed monster, we have guys who can not only shoot it from outside but take it to the rack as well. With our ability to score in multiple ways, we're a tough team to defend and add to that the solid way we play defense, we're a difficult team to beat. I just think we're dancing this year. I think we'll be able to win enough of our remaining games that we're there. Bugeaters1 and AuroranHusker 2 Quote

Shows how strong the force of habit can be. I meant PBA. Quote
