Great interview talking about Nebraska's chances of making the NCAA Tourney!

He compares Nebraska's resumé to other teams like Kentucky, Wichita St, etc.

He says that (if you dont look at the name on the front of the jersey) Nebraska's resumé is better than Kentucky's.

"Nebraska doesn't have to do anything that they haven't already shown they are capable of doing earlier this season".

It's not like Nebraska's schedule for these next 6 games is as difficult as their first 5 Big Ten games

I appreciate his enthusiasm, but I fail to see how our resume is better than or even close to Kentucky's.

Parrish breaks it all down in the interview. Sorry, but I'm not going to type out the entire interview on here. I will post it when the radio station does. It will probably be a couple hours or so...

Oh it's cool, I can wait. I'm interested to hear how he justifies it for sure. I just looked it up and they were 11-6 against the top 100 while we are 5-7 (granted 6 of 7 losses are in top 25 of RPI). Their SOS was better than ours. They haven't lost to anyone outside the top 100 and are 4-4 on the road. They're 19-6 and 9-3 in the SEC. Bracketology has them as a 5 seed right now.

I'm guessing it has to be the fact that they are 0-2 against the top 25 and we are 2-6. This is why I feel that most pundits are taking us likely. They haven't looked into the fact that 6 of our 10 losses are to Top 25 RPI teams.

Too show you just how funky the RPI can be, the Wildcats are currently 12th in said RPI. They are 10-6 against the top-100 (not bad, right?), but only 2-4 against the top-50 and have ZERO RPI top-25 wins. Nebraska is 6-7 against the RPI top-100 and have played TEN games against the top-50 (3-7 overall). The Wildcats have been feasting on teams between 51-100 on the RPI list.

Sounds like they are essentially Iowa last year

That's a heck of an interview... he's basically asking the question... and it's very legitimate... asking what the results would be if some of those teams in the top 25 played our schedule.

yeah we've had 3-4 ugly losses, but still.  it's not like creighton or msu or michigan or osu haven't blown out other top 25 quality teams this year.  i think villanova might run screaming if they have to play creighton in their conference tournament... and that's a fairly solid team.
