Officially Payback Week

That was a great win and now we put ourselves in good position down the stretch. 

 

We owe both these teams after we blew both games on the road.  Everybody talks about the PSU game and rightfully so, but @ Purdue we had a 3 point lead with under 7 to go and didn't make a field goal until the game was all but over with 10 seconds left. 

 

Today was a HUGE step forward, and we need to keep up the momentum by going 2-0 this week.

I would be a lot more worried about these games if we hasn't already lost to both. Our guys are hungry.

This could be the biggest week of the last decade plus for this program. As a Husker fan, I'm conditioned to expect a collapse. But I have a feeling that this time really might be different. They get these two games, and we're going into territory we haven't been in since this board began. It's pretty wild what an epic upset can do for you. Someday I hope games like today are the norm, not the once every 15 years exception.

Sounds like the team is focused. They know a loss to PSU or Purdue will undue the giant step they took today. They also know that both teams can beat us. Let's defend the vault this week!
