Seriously, no black uniform thread?

I'm more willing to go with black uniforms to "satisfy" recruits than I am with switching to Nike.

I don't think uniforms make the difference for the positive or negative. My point is really, are we about winning or fashion? Win games and you can wear whatever you want.

Every team is about winning, but if you want to win you need to catch the eye of 16, 17, & 18 year olds, and that is done through fashion. You can try to deny it all you want, but that is the stuff that's important to a majority of the kids these days. A program like Nebraska needs to find a way to stand out and draw the attention of these kids. Our top of the line facilities and 3 or 4 different uniforms a season is a pretty good start. Now, wins need to solidify it!!

When I was in school the way to catch the eye of 16, 17, and 18 year olds was women. How times have changed.

I don't think times have changed, just how strict recruiting is

There is not enough contrast between the black uniforms and the red numbers for me to read the numbers on tv.  Other than that, I don't like them anyway.
