Norm Peterson Posted June 14, 2013 Report Posted June 14, 2013 Nice work, baller. Hopefully we can get in on some of these kids. If we can get them here for a visit, we have a shot. I'd love to see us land Leroy Butts. Just for the name if nothing else. Quote
49r Posted June 14, 2013 Report Posted June 14, 2013 Well, Norm...we only have room for three in the 2014 class, so I guess we'd better just take the 4-star guys in that class... Norm Peterson and Silverbacked1 2 Quote

I'd love to see us land Leroy Butts. Just for the name if nothing else. Is Leroy a brother to semore? Speaking of Semore Butts.... have you read his book "Under the Bleechers" yet?? Great book! Never got into Butts as an author, personally. He has a flat, visceral style and seems to be a bit full of himself. His work appears directed at the least common denominator -- in other words, the bottom end of society. I did, however, enjoy "Yellow River" by I. P. Freely. Now, that's a classic we should all enjoy from time to time. 49r 1 Quote
