Norm Peterson Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 One more reason to be glad we're out of the Big 12. 1 1. (Unless one of our players transfers to a B1G school.) Quote
huskas4real Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Josh Davis from Tulane is has been released from Tulane and can play right away next year. What a huge get that would be. Also, Trey Zeigler is transferring from Pittsburgh. Quote
Nebrasketballer Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Sign me up for Davis! +1. Nebraska can use a 6'8", 215 lb, Forward Quote
GATA Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Sign me up for Davis! +1. Nebraska can use a 6'8", 215 lb, Forward I have a friend who is a hard-core Illinois fan and he said there's a ton of interest in him from the Illini side as well. Also, they've been linked to a PF from Texas Tech who was the reigning sixth man of the year in the Big 12. Quote
atskooc Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Why is Davis immediately eligible? Graduated. Quote

Silverbacked1 Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Okay but I will have to see a picture of him beside McDermette first before I even look at him. greymonkey and hhcmatt 2 Quote
hhcmatt Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Also, Trey Zeigler is transferring from Pittsburgh.Trey Zeigler isn't someone you bring in to up your team chemistry. Iowa State have an opening? Quote
hhcmatt Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Okay but I will have to see a picture of him beside McDermette first before I even look at him. You have seen him. He was the skinny kid who destroyed us on the boards, nearly fouled out Ubel, and almost led to Tulane beating us at home. Dude has a MOTOR and can jump out of the gym. He would be a great get. Quote
Norm Peterson Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Dimes, he's not that skinny. Not stout, but he carries 215# and can probably add another ten pretty easy. Quote

It’s a place I can see myself being. I really like their style of play and what Coach Ford is trying to do. I see myself having a good career there.” Shaw, a first-team all-stater at Chicago De La Salle in 2011, was a top 100 recruit and chose the Illini from a host of high major offers. Greg Lewis, F, Soph, 6'9", 240 lbs True sophomore…A tough, physical big man…As offensive game continues to mature, will have an opportunity to be one of the premiere bigs in the conference. Derrick Randall, F/C, Soph, 6'8", 240 lbs True sophomore…A tremendous rebounder and defender who brings a physical presence and toughness to the program…Was the initial commitment of RU’s heralded 2011 recruiting class. Kadeem Jack, F, RS Soph, 6'9", 225 lbs Redshirt sophomore…Enrolled at Rutgers midyear in 2010-11 and was redshirted…An elite athlete with unlimited potential…Athleticism and versatility make him a cornerstone for the future...A 2011-12 BIG EAST All-Academic Team member.
