Post on another board mentioned massive penalties on earnings when a player transfers. Thought that was actually not a bad idea.

Yeah it’s absurd. The best 4-year college plan right now is dominate at a small school, transfer up a level, then transfer again for your last year. Makes me sad, we need to understand this and be grateful cuz Brice Williams and Juwan Gary (especially Brice) could have transferred somewhere else and been paid a lot more than they got at NU.

I’m surprised more collectives have nt instituted things like balloon payments at the end of the year after the portal has opened and closed.

with revenue sharing, duke's roster will probably be making $20 million next year...essentially the yankees of college basketball at this point

Maybe, maybe not. Duke seems to think they can build a football roster this past decade.
