Let them play but not the bump and grab. Call things early so they stop

What is wierd is most, if not all, of the Big Ten officials referee in multiple leagues.  So is the issue the Big Ten head of officials?  The coaches and how they want the game called?  Or are the fans hallucinating and the officials are doing a good job, and fans are just haters?

True. I just hope we get one of his competent clones the next time we see him/them. One bright spot -- at least the College Basketball Referees Association didn't choose to clone Teddy Valentine.

People see what they want to see.  Officiating is the same all over.  No such thing as Big 10 refs, Big 12 refs, etc.  If you watch a lot of games,, you will see the same ref doing a Big 10 game yesterday, a Big 12 game today and a ACC game tomorrow.  The refs that do a lot of games are making lots of $.

He also texted me last night that game was one of the worst he has seen in a very long time.

 

SMU didn’t  score for 8:00+ minutes in the second half.  And Wake only scored like 8 points in that same 8:00+ minutes

Parker Friedrichsen scored 18 points (his father is from my native Aurora, NE) last night vs SMU. He made 5-7 on threes. They had a lot of friends & family at the game, the closest that Wake plays in the ACC to their home base in Brixby, OK. Must have been fun for that family, Parker had been struggling mightily from the land of plenty.
