Carey with a nice knock in the 8th, but is caught at the wall... he's had one of those games tonight where nothing will drop in there.

The next 2 guys snare a hit & somehow it's away from a potential out. That's baseball.

And, one out later on a deep ball to center... then, boom, 3-run HR !! And it's blown open, 9-1 Big Red !!

This one was pretty feisty from the 7th on.  Sounds like there was a little altercation after the game.  Hopefully the boys come out and pounce on them early tomorrow.  It could be a heated game.

I missed the start if it as we were walking up the aisle.  I turned and there was a lot of yelling and gesturing.  Never saw any actual physical contact but it was as close to a fight as I’ve seen in college baseball.   Either Sirianni or Harvel was jawing with a GCU coach well after the teams were separated.   GCU was animated all night with some over the top celebrations.  The pitcher for 14 for GCU was the worst.  Did a lot of woofing, and had to be stopped by the ump several times for starting his windup with the batter not yet set in the box.  Should be an intense game tomorrow.

Yeah, when the broadcast came back from break, all we saw was the two coaches talking.  GCU was indeed pretty over the top all night.  Could have swore they ejected their pitcher in the 7th or 8th.  Yesterday definitely felt like a post season type game/environment.  Today should be fun.
