GBR!!  Alexis was a beast!  Wonder when the last time a women's player had 20+ for pts. and rb's.  The fight she shows on the court (not meaning the incidental punch) shows true leadership folks!  A bigger victory point wise and a better game after a slow start against PU than our home W.  Couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.  Keep it going gals!  😎 🏀

The most rebounds by an NU WBB player since 1990... GBR

Husker Ladies Win, 77-65.  :Happyrun:

Markowski with a Big Game; 20 Points and 21 Rebounds 💣  🎇  (most Rbs for a Husker Lady since 1990 😮image.gif)

GRIT, NO QUIT Husker Ladies!

From LJS:

Markowski did have to head to the locker room early after being ejected with two minutes left in the game. While pumping her fist to celebrate basket inside the paint, Markowski accidentally made contact with a Purdue player and received a technical foul.

So how does this affect her next game?

One of the more unusual things seen in a while...

Markowski's foul out...ejection...(wasn't privilege to the ref's conversation's of course) ...what ever you want to call it, was an unfortunate and weird deal all the way around, and an accident obviously. But by the letter of the law (rule) she was going to get ejected. It just so happened it was her 5th foul too.

The Purdue  player was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. But took it like a champ. Sort of....

Highlight of game like everyone else said....Markowski's 20 points and 21 rebounds. May not see  that again in a long time.   The entire Purdue team had 26 rebounds.

I was not happy with the post officiating.  Normally bad calls are back and forth.  This game they seemed to allow Purdue to play defend physically and the Husker not so much, but that's just how I see it.  We did dominate the glass, so I really don't have a big complaint
