B10 Future hoops tourney format

Looks like as we move to 18 teams, the bottom 3 teams will not make the conference tourney.  They are keeping us at 20 conference games, and the tourney will still give double bye to 1-4 and now single bye to 5-9

I dont understand why they didn't go to 16. I get you dont want to add another day, which eliminates 17/18, but why not 16, you'd have 4 games per day W/T/F instead of 3/4/4 for 15.

Peacock was too uppity to stream a 9 vs 16 seed game and B1G+ said "no thanks" too?

2 games before a cindarella draws a top seed for their first game. going to be a lot of quarterfinal blowouts with that system---either way.
