TV announcers (pet peeve)

Two things that drive me nuts:

 

1-TV announcers that don't know the difference between a reverse layup and an up and under post move.

 

2-When a player is hot and he misses a long three early in the possession saying "his team did not need that, that was a bad shot" and then the next time down court he hits the same shot and yell "he is on fire!"

May favorite... dude scores like 4-5 points... maybe 1-2 baskets and an early shot in the clock is automatically a "heat check" if it's missed.

 

Personally, a heat check to me is when a guy goes on a mini 7-10 point run on their own, have made multiple baskets, and they take a very ill advised 3 or wild driving layup.  Not all early shot clock shots are the same.

Mine:

ESPN announcers (others not as bad) talking about some dumb effing game later on the "ESPN family of networks" and not the game they're broadcasting. I don't give **** about  the "big game" later when I'm watching the Huskers.

I know he's a meme at this point and people think he's hilarious.  But I can't stand him.

I am not a fan of the BTN+ Nebraska basketball broadcast for a variety of reasons.  I don't understand why Nebraska moved away from having students do the play by play and color commentary.  I enjoyed that much more even if they weren't polished.  Alternatively, I would presume there is a way that BTN could sync up Kent's call with the video feed.  That would be great as well.

We have 2 phones.  My wife can get hers to watch on the TV.  Mine cannot so I sync Kent and Jake on my phone.
