NDSU took the series over UNO last weekend.

Most likely not happening, but with a light weekend and no game until Saturday, do we think about starting Olsen?

 

Friday, Tuesday, Saturday isn’t completely overwhelming on a strict pitch count today.

He has got alot of swings and misses.  However, this ump's strike zone is atrocious.   Matthews is rung up at a pitch at eye level.

He reminds me alot of Jake Meyers.  Not overpowering stuff, but can get hitters out.

Shay got the shut down.  Can he throw anything but a slider?  If I am a hitter I am just looking slider.

It wasn't pretty,  but a much needed win.

 

By my count Shay threw 34 sliders out of 37 pitches.  Good hitting teams lay off those, and hit the hangers.
