Unfortunately, these are the games that will tip the scales when it comes to getting in the tourney field or not.  We’ve already lost too many we should have won.

Whelp, at least NU won 1 game today. That capper was a big woof. Yikes, Gomes not only blows the save, he gives up the game shortly thereafter. NU is only 2-7.

I texted a buddy 3 separate times that they should pull Gomes. Wasn't locating and according to Greg and Ben, his body language wasn't great. I get trying to manufacture confidence, when you can afford too. At 2-6 you're not afforded that luxury.

If the offense doesn't wake up, soon, it is going to be a long season.  At least today we are making contact.  It's kind of sad when you are excited they struck out once in 3 innings.
