Husker22 Posted February 27, 2022 Report Posted February 27, 2022 Since they are honoring Cravens and Haiby, is this a sign that those 2 wont use their covid year? Quote

Not sure if that has been decided yet. I did see this mention; • Haiby will join graduate students MiCole Cayton and Bella Cravens in participating in Senior Day ceremonies following Nebraska's game with Northwestern. Cayton plans to complete her collegiate eligibility this season, while Cravens and Haiby have one year remaining. mwm89 and The Cornfather 2 Quote
redsteve Posted February 27, 2022 Report Posted February 27, 2022 This game is going to be a tough one. Northwestern is playing pretty well now. Their starters play the most of the minutes. And they're pretty good players. Not sure how deep they are, so we may have an advantage there. Just come out focused and prepared. Play hard defense, and REBOUND. Protect the ball (they try to steal a lot) Home game...we like it a lot. Use it to our advantage. The Cornfather, Red Don, whoopdeedoo and 1 other 4 Quote
Red Don Posted February 27, 2022 Report Posted February 27, 2022 (edited) And Let's hope there is a Record Crowd @ PBA to boost the team, for the final game of the season. We Know how much of a Difference it makes to the team from the comments by Bella Cravens and Jaz Shelley!!!! LET'S BEAT the 6,566 CROWD for the MINNESOTA Game!!! redsteve Posted February 27, 2022 Report Posted February 27, 2022 (edited) 1st qtr. was the usual double team Markowski. Show the press. We must be careful with the ball. Keep getting them to foul if we can. Our size may be a factor before this is done. Edited February 27, 2022 by redsteve Quote

mwm89 Posted February 27, 2022 Report Posted February 27, 2022 Finally draw a foul in the paint with the Widener drive. Too many TOs for one half of BB. Quote

12dozen Posted February 27, 2022 Author Report Posted February 27, 2022 Markowski got out of the half with just the one foul. When she picked up the early one, I was a bit concerned. Any chance, she, Izzie, and Bella, along with our rebounding guards, come out this half and take over? redsteve, NUtball and mwm89 1 2 Quote

That's what I see too, as may be the difference. If we can defend the three and their driving to the bucket....we should be OK....but a lot of if's there. If I were a coach that's what I would focus on....get them to foul out...they do foul a lot. Edited February 27, 2022 by redsteve 12dozen and mwm89 1 1 Quote
caveman Posted February 27, 2022 Report Posted February 27, 2022 Don't expect it. NWis nothing if not defensively sound. Cleaning up turnovers is really the only thing we could improve on. mwm89 1 Quote
