I noticed several times Bryce stands there, seemingly baffled as to whether to hedge or hard-cut and guard the shot. He did neither. I think the opponent's tactic to guard Bryce hard at the other end has affected his already suspect D...

It looks to me that Bryce has fully embraced the “I’m going to do what I want now” approach during the game and because of his sheer talent we still need him out there, but in regards to team play (especially defensively) he’s a liability. I feel like a lot of P6 tourney caliber teams would have him reigned in and have him coming off the bench as a great 6 man asset. It’s just kinda where we’re at right now with subpar coaching unfortunately.

The weird part of this is that I still think it would be a better idea for Bryce to return to college another year. He's still too slight to take the constant barrage of defenders at the next level, he has a hard enough time with taking contact at an approximate 30-game schedule of D1 basketball as it is...
