whoopdeedoo Posted January 30, 2022 Report Posted January 30, 2022 if Rutgers could get their first conference win against Mich St (@rutgers) and huskers get this win at PBA, put them in a good position in the standings. Red Don 1 Quote

redsteve Posted January 30, 2022 Report Posted January 30, 2022 (edited) Like said, yes it has the potential to be a close game. Probably will... Their record's much like ours. What little I've watched them, they look pretty good. They have a 6-6 big so they have very good size inside, overall quickness, and can steal the ball. May be pretty tough for us in the lane. They have four that do the most of the team scoring. Are good at the free throws like Iowa Better have our eye's wide open on this one. ^^^^^^ Just heard their big center is out of the game Edited January 30, 2022 by redsteve Red Don 1 Quote

12dozen Posted January 30, 2022 Author Report Posted January 30, 2022 Great start by Weidner. Our passing into the post could use some work. Good intentions, but not too accurate. Red Don and Cazzie22 2 Quote

Red Don Posted January 30, 2022 Report Posted January 30, 2022 (edited) Bummer, can't get Matt & Jeff (maybe they'll get the Huskers App straightened out by the second half ) But a nice run by the Ladies from when score was 6-9 in the first! Edited January 30, 2022 by Red Don Quote

redsteve Posted January 30, 2022 Report Posted January 30, 2022 (edited) Weidner and Jazz in at the same time is almost at another level. Purdue just kind of watches them fly around. We get our passes to the inside fixed and we'll be fine. The bunnnies are worth 10 m0re points in the first half. Purdue aren't slouches. We must keep up the pace, and our depth could make a difference late. Our shooting percentages in the 1st half are good, even with the easy misses. 12dozen Posted January 30, 2022 Author Report Posted January 30, 2022 Up 20. So far, so good. It might be easier since we're leading, but I am a bit impressed with Purdue. They don't whine and moan when calls go against them. A bit like how our girls react. Cazzie22 1 Quote
Red Don Posted January 30, 2022 Report Posted January 30, 2022 Allison Weidner - 14 pts & Alexis Markowski - 13 pts. GOOOOO FRESHMEN!!!! mwm89 1 Quote
Cazzie22 Posted January 30, 2022 Report Posted January 30, 2022 Don’t understand a line change when the game is still in doubt. Purdue can hit threes and we need to focus on close shots. We have missed a bunch. Quote
