hskr4life Posted November 8, 2020 Report Posted November 8, 2020 We reallllllllllly getting close to the seasons start. Would imaging MTE teams would travel in the next 14-15 days. Scheduled, you’d think, would be wrapped up soon. BjoeHusker 1 Quote
hskr4life Posted November 8, 2020 Report Posted November 8, 2020 New article up from Robin! Unfortunately OSU, Colorado St, and Cleveland St pulled out. Other 8 are still in. Looking to add two more “quality” mid-majors though a power 6 team will NOT be added. Quote
Red Don Posted November 9, 2020 Report Posted November 9, 2020 Link to Robin's Article: https://nebraska.rivals.com/news/nebraska-s-golden-window-still-on-awaiting-big-ten-approval Quote As of Thursday, the Big Ten continued to debate how it would manage non-conference schedules or even if it would go to a league-only slate. HuskerOnline learned that the MTE is now likely to include 8-10 teams, with no more than 10 in the field. The eight known schools currently under contract are Nebraska, LSU, Northern Iowa, Illinois State, Western Kentucky, Nevada, San Francisco, and Saint Louis. As things stood on Thursday, the hope is for 25 percent capacity, roughly 4,000 fans at Pinnacle Bank Arena. If that holds, tickets will go on sale to the public next week. Quote

hhcmatt Posted November 9, 2020 Author Report Posted November 9, 2020 Oklahoma St, Cleveland St, and Colorado St out. The state of Ohio has a rule that anyone travelling to states with a positivity rate over 15% needs to quarantine and I wonder if they were afraid that Nebraska would hit that mark during the tourney. Handy Johnson Posted November 10, 2020 Report Posted November 10, 2020 Wonder when a decision will be made on fan attendance @ either/both venues? Where will this be televised? Looking forward to hearing the details as this unfolds... Quote
Go Big Fred Posted November 14, 2020 Report Posted November 14, 2020 Capacity for events has been capped at 500, doubt we see any general admission fans for this Quote
