Silva always got some hate - but he always produced a solid weekend rotation. I think the knock on him was arm injuries, but the Fri - Sun guys most years were good enough to get us to a regional. Seems like we took 1 step forward offensively with Bolt, and 2 steps back pitching wise. Don't give up on Christy yet - this is his first run as a pitching coach. Worrisome that we have no one on the staff that's ever been a pitcher or pitching coach though.

I like this new weekly tradition of pulling Gomes after 60 pitches then completely falling apart on the mound.

Winless when scoring under 18, undefeated when scoring 18+. Think I found our secret. Honestly that’s a rough 9 game stretch to break in a new pitching staff and coaching staff. Next couple weeks will allow us to grow and win games. This team woulda benefited from a weak schedule early, so everyone can figure each other out.

San Diego loss is the only one i really have a problem with. Cant blow a 7-0 lead in the second half of the game. Oh well. Good to get one!! Hopefully they start making up some ground as the schedule softens. GBR
