Looks like it will be mostly the name schools again this year and heavy SEC.  Tall task for Minnesota to go into Oregon St and win two games.  Would like to see Duke/Wilmington/Stetson make it to get some underdogs to root for.

Believe it or not, Auburn hasn't made it to the Super Regionals since 1999. So that might be a better option than Vandy, etc. if you're looking for an underdog.

I would also like to see Tennessee Tech. They pound the ball and would make Omaha interesting.

However, most important is I want the winner of that region to crush texass.

Here's the breakdown of how many P5 teams made the NCAA Regionals:

ACC: 6

Big 12: 5

Big Ten: 4

Pac-12: 4

SEC: 10

Pending the Florida/FAU game, here's how many teams made it to NCAA Super Regionals:

ACC: 2

Big 12: 2

Big Ten: 1

Pac-12: 2

SEC: 6 (if Florida wins; B5 4-2 Florida over FAU right now)

Super Regionals

#2 Auburn vs. #1 Florida (if Florida wins; B5 5-2 Florida over FAU)

#1 Texas Tech vs. #2 Duke

#1 Arkansas vs. #2 South Carolina

#1 Texas vs. #2 Tennessee Tech

#3 Washington vs. #3 Cal State Fullerton

#2 Vanderbilt vs. #2 Mississippi State

#1 Stetson vs. #1 North Carolina

#1 Minnesota vs. #1 Oregon State

As you can see, there's a lot of #1 and #2 seeds out there. There aren't many Cinderella teams to pick from anymore (e.g. Auburn, Duke, Tennessee Tech, Washington, Stetson, Minnesota).

Jackson Rose, an Omaha native, came in for one of his biggest moments in his career pitching for Minnesota. He came in at the top of the 9th with only 1 out and bases loaded, tied 3-3. 7 pitches in he struck one batter out, but then it was just too much after that. He throws one high and an Oregon State player knocks in 2 runs and it just kind of unraveled from there.

It's been a rather interesting Super Regionals this year.

Six games went to Game 3 (versus 2 last year). And so far the host team is 2-2 (historically the host team wins 80% of the time).

Should make for a great College World Series this year!
