I can't confirm this, but I feel like I recall that he sometimes gets animated like that (T-worthy, I suppose) to either make a statement or try to get his players going.

I will throw another wrench into the discussion.  If they can only view the replay the last two minutes of a half or game, wouldn't there be an argument that overtime would qualify?  The regular game ended.  In OT every possession, every shot, every move becomes a do-or-die type moment.

The overtime is considered an extension of the second half. That's why you continue with the free throw count, etc. so yes, all of the OT  is open to review.
