  1. I think there's no doubt Miles misses Smith, they were together for most of their careers.
  2. Rhode Island plays at Southern Miss tonight. I wonder if Doc called Miles for advice? Will be interesting to see how it turns out. We need Rhode Island to win these games for our RPI.
  3. Hammond looks like a less-coordinated Brian Diaz out there.
  4. Who here predicted that Moses would have more points than Shavon?
  5. I didn't see our game against Rhode Island but they look dreadful against Kansas. That could be a very bad loss for us.
  6. I only saw a few minutes of the game online last night, but I too thought his shot looked a little different.
  7. Indiana, Iowa, and Illinois are all struggling at home tonight with worse teams than Rhode Island.
  8. Our inside game/rebounding leaves a lot to be desired. Having another decent 6'8 guy on the roster would help
  9. I also see David Wacker is averaging 10.5 points and 4.5 rebounds for Boise St in his first 2 games. Really thought we should have taken him.
  10. Looks like Jordan Cornish did not get off the bench for UNLV. Not that it matters since we ended up with a much better player in Andrew White.
  11. Maybe we can add another sharp-shooting transfer from KU: Conner Frankamp is leaving the Jayhawks. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/11797141/kansas-jayhawks-sophomore-guard-conner-frankamp-transfer
  12. Isn't URI coached by Dan Hurley? I'm surprised he didn't recruit Tarin Smith really hard. Or maybe he did.
  13. Nebrasketball is ranked and the Royals are in the World Series. It's a cold day in hell.
  14. Interesting
  15. If that's how Tarin looks after being sick and losing 12 pounds....I can't wait to see how good he is when he's 100% healthy.
  16. Tarin Smith looks like the real deal
  17. Ohio State at 2nd? Didn't they lose Craft, Ross, and Smith? I agree that Illinois seems too low.
  18. Back-to-back dunks he had as a 14-year-old!
  19. Recruits don't pick a school just based on shoe affiliation.....but they might eliminate a school based on shoe affiliation. Adidas schools like Louisville and Kansas are still going to get top recruits because of their tradition. But for schools like us that have no tradition, it gives recruits another reason to eliminate us from their list.
  20. Does that mean he would be eligible to be a graduate transfer? Not that I think he would do that, but I imagine a lot of big-time programs would be interested.
  21. 2015-16 will be interesting with Smith, Webster, Watson, and Parker all battling for playing time.
  22. Knowing Ed's parents and his upbringing, I seriously doubt they let their 17-year-old son anywhere near a party during the visit. Even if they did, Ed does not seem like the type of kid who has fun at college parties. He seems like he would be the designated driver sitting in the corner sipping root beer.
  23. Watching the Hawkeyes lose couldn't have been more fun than watching us beat down Miami.....what can a high school kid do in Iowa City that is so much fun?
