    The fact Wisconsin beat Missouri in a closed scrimmage by about the same as Kansas beat Missouri gives me hope. It may be totally false hope, but it's hope none the less.

    This and no 3 minute long commercial breaks every half inning, bigger strike zone if was back in the day, and batters didn't get out of the box and become human rain delays after every pitch.

    I really think this team is going to surprise people this year! Not claiming first tournament win but I really think we are going to be better than most think.

    I will also add to what you've said here, all of which I agree with, that it appears we have enough depth that IF one has a "poor performance" there is enough depth to over come it. Last year if Webster and or Watson had a bad game, and it happened, we were screwed.

    Hope so, now if we can improve our 3 pt shooting to closer to what we did in first half we will be scary!

    48 in the first half gives one a lot to be excited about. 28 in second half is okay Hanging on after playing poorly in second half gives some hope! Road win vs a power 5 school even when it doesn't count has to be a boost.
