Haha, so far these are roughly the responses I expected. I do think it's nice to see his bracket every year. May not always see eye to eye with the guy, but it's cool he does this like millions of other Americans.

Thanks, Obama! http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1998046-president-barack-obama-reveals-his-2014-march-madness-bracket?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial&hpt=hp_t2

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYtiowolctQ Zombie, zombie, zombie-ie-ie Sorry, it's all I could think of when I read that. -
I obviously know there is a second half, thank you.
-
Did you read my second sentence?
-
Fastest Airmail in Ohio! Hope we can keep him off the score sheet in the second half as well.
-
I'm guessing we win by double digits. They shot like 32-33% today. I'd say we score 70 and they don't hit 60.
-
No joke. They should have to be sweating it out on the bubble hoping some Pac-12 and SEC teams choke while the smaller conferences have their tournaments go as expected.
-
You know, I've always thought a lot of sportsmanship was just social norm-political correctness anymore. Guess not though, as this ass jack is going against the other 15,997 that were in attendance.

That place better be empty today. -
I'm not in a wheelchair so I can't speak for those who are, but my general impression of those who are is that they wouldn't be offended. They realize you're not talking about them. Most people don't have as thin of skin as the PC crowd expects them to have. And those who are mobility-impaired realize that the sign would lose a good deal of its impact if it had to read "Nobody who is physically able to stand Sits Today!!!" This is good Norm. I really like all of this "no sit Sunday" stuff. But there are reasonableness things that I hope people understand. My 84 year old mother is going to be at the game and she can't stand up for the whole game. She sits in row one - so no worries that anyone will be standing in front of her (except courtside seats which I will address). I assume no one is going to criticize 80 year old people for sitting down and watching as long as they are not telling others to sit down. I will say that if anyone has courtside seats they need to ignore this "mandate". One of the earlier games there were a couple people standing in those seats and because of the proximity of the seats to the court they really block the view for everyone in the first few rows - even if those people are standing up. So elderly, disabled and courtside ticket holders all need to be "exempted" from the "no sit" rule. 13 posts into a topic about putting banners up outside of and to the entrance of the arena and we have three "exemptions" to the content of those posters. Make me think two things: 1) no wonder our government has become so bogged down, they've had 238 years of this kind of shit, and 2) those banners are gonna have to be the size of that dumb ice rink to get all the rules and regulations on them. A little common sense by both the standers and sitters would go a long way.

Maybe he's just heading to the next Husker athletic event? He isn't just the basketball and football AD, he has a lot of places to be.

Can be tinkered with here for the curious. http://www.rpiforecast.com/wizard/Nebraska.html Can't say I haven't looked at where we'd be if that tip against Michigan was good.

Up late thinking about how we beat Illinois

I'd be cool with Walter keeping his outside shooting up and that's how we win. He's been hitting at a pretty high percentage lately by my eyes. -
Let's take a look at a few of Lunardi's "last four in" and you tell me which resume is better.... 1. Team 1 Record: 18-10(8-7) RPI: 62 SOS: 55 Top 50 RPI: 2-5 2. Team 2 Record: 15-11(7-7) RPI: 60 SOS: 16 Top 50 RPI: 2-6 3. Team 3 Record: 16-10(8-6) RPI: 48 SOS: 26 Top 50 RPI: 3-7 I agree I'd give us the nod over those teams but Lunardi has repeatedly said his projections are based on how he sees the rest of the season playing out and I am sure that would be his reasoning if you asked him. Aren't we that third team?

I saw it! Very nice!

Purdue is the toughest until we get to Indiana?
Vinny replied to lanigan123's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
I think the history of let downs is gone. Not saying we won't lose one this week, Penn State and Purdue are certainly capable. But the way Miles talks about only knowing the last year and a half of Husker basketball, even after a win at Michigan State, it's clear to me he isn't letting this team be held back by the history of Husker basketball before them. If we lose one of the games this week, it won't be because the guys on the team think Nebraska is destined to be a below average team. -
Nebraska 13-10 Vs.Michigan State 21-4 Game Thread

GBR!!! -
I posted a thread over there about how I thought this was drivel. Didn't want to post it here and link to it though since he gets paid by hits. The fact that Huskermax put that on the front page was puzzling to me as they rarely link anything about the football program that has a tone of negativity to it, then they let one of their own writers put this there about the basketball program.
