  1. Nebraska Player Injury Status Details Juwan Gary Ques Sun - Eye - 11/28/24 Questionable
  2. I do sort of miss Beau Reid though; especially when he used to interact with us on this site. Side note, I wonder if Bo and Doc still interact. If I correctly recall, they forged a pretty decent friendship while here. They even played golf together at Augusta National. Bo was a a good coach; but man, he was chippy with certain members of press. He also sort of crumbled under the pressure of the Nebraska machine. That said, I would take his record right now. His offense even would look good;)
  3. Four plays! Four flipping plays!!! Okay, moving on. I have never been a fan of hand shakes before, or at the end of games. It serves no purpose. Feelings are disingenuous at best. We witness the worst, all to often. Sportsmanship is displayed by the actions taking place during the action, not by handshakes before or after the actin.
  4. Oops. They did. I checked the wrong score
  5. North Florida lost by 13 tonight
  6. Ulis against South Dakota earlier this week. Before that, I am pretty sure Keisei had one.
  7. Many coaches have humongous egos. They believe they can fit talented square pegs into their round hole. The thing is, somehow, some way, the elite coaches oftentimes accomplish that feat.
  8. Making us look better, and better.
  9. Goodness, Indiana looks bad.
  10. Us 84 Them 73 They also have a game Friday night...
  11. I'm going to take a somewhat different viewpoint. There seems to be more parity in the league this year. Many teams can look good; yet many are capable of falling flat as well (Indiana certainly laid an egg versus Louisville today). I guess what I am saying is, yes it will be a grind; but I see this as a great opportunity to go out and exceed expectations.
  12. Right now, Gavin's defense is comparable to Wilcher's. He seems to be a tweener, where he lacks perimeter quickness and body mass in the paint. Can it be fixed? Perhaps in the off-season. So for now, it has to be overcome with effort/intensity or it has to be hidden through schemes. Gavin could be an important cog for our machine; but right now, he has no rhythm on offense and he is a defensive liability, so, his court time could be at risk. Honestly, I was thinking the same thing about Connor; but he has elevated his game the past three outings.
  13. Good win against a decent team. We played most of the game sans two starters. Loved that Essigian took a major step forward on offense tonight. Good to see. I was a bit disappointed with our defense effort and our general lack of intensity. We also did a below average job with our ball handling. Perhaps I am not giving enough credit to South Dakota. Their ability to take it to the basket was a big concern, we have some players that cannot stop the dribble drive. Our bigs could not close out on them either. So, something to fix moving forward.
  14. It looked like a groin to me at the arena. It looked like he simply had an awkward fall.
  15. Nope, that has been his defensive style all year
  16. Anybody hear anything about Juwan or Berke?
  17. Folks, she'll be fine
  18. Good lord, KC was a BAD team. Should beat them by 40...and we did.
  19. Glad the Jayskers are still behind their winning program. We shall see.
  20. Creighton may not win another game until they get their injured guard back. I thought...ahem, cough...maybe Traudt...ahem, snicker, may start taking over games. HeeHeeHee. Seriously though, their losses will not do anything to enhance our national presence.
  21. Good take...BUT...I am not convinced that Purdue is close to last year's team. In my humble opinion, we are clearly more talented and deeper than Purdue.
  22. I believe once we start heating up from the perimeter, the lobs and dunks will come. Right now, the opposition sags to the paint in order to stop our drives rather than come out to pressure most of our shooters.
  23. I will say this now...there WILL be referees that will not find our physical style of play to their liking. Those games will be rather, ahem, frustrating.
  24. Really hard to tell. So much has to go into that decision. I imagine the practices include experiments with various line ups.
