There were a few odd calls in that game. At one point the Wisconsin big had his shot blocked, and he was about to put it back up (meaning he got his own rebound). The referee blew his whistle and awarded the basket (goaltending). At the next time out, they reviewed the play and removed the two points. Again, remember, Wisconsin had rebounded the miss and appeared ready to shoot a relatively clean bunny. Bizarre to say the least.

Great question. I kinda think there is a mixture. She is extremely athletic, she has a certain aura surrounding her and she is an energizer bunny that can go, and go and go. She goes to the rim, has an above average shot and passes well. She currently is not sn elite defender. Her 3 point shooting is not yet compatible with Clark. She needs to improve her strength as well. So how does she compare...hmm.

So, what you are saying is we are a top 50 team with the potential of being in the sweet 16 if we continue to improve, and peak at the right time. I am a fan, and that possibility sort of geeks me out.

Beat Michigan on the road, beat the #2 team in the country (in front of a national audience), lost on the road to the #2 team on the road (likely emotionally, mentally and physically spent) and then go onto the road again for a win. For a team that some on this site left for dead, I am thinking that we are playing good ball. I guess I am unsure why there are any complaints? On top of that, we have, what appears to be, three very good recruits on the way.

Yeah...re-watching the game...no way around it, that was an ugly first half. Good defense; but offense was extremely loosy-goosy.

From LJS: Markowski did have to head to the locker room early after being ejected with two minutes left in the game. While pumping her fist to celebrate basket inside the paint, Markowski accidentally made contact with a Purdue player and received a technical foul.

My concern was he has had ball handling issues in the past. He seemed to have improved his handles; but then issues arose again two games ago. The issue seems to coincide with hesitancy in pulling the trigger on his 3's.

Very workman like and nice win. As others said, it was a rock fight at times; but we won that fight. We made good adjustments and ultimately took care of business as necessary. I blame it on the fans who lulled to sleep by the major baby insurgency in the arena. Cute yes...lot's of oohs and ahhs...but not conducive to a loud and boisterous crowd. By the way, I also liked the refereeing today

I say this very sheepishly...there seems to be a...little...racial tension when it comes to Clark. I have no clue why; but, it seems sort of stanky at times.
