We have two bigs, in Blaise and Diop, that will likely require us to change both our offense and defense in order to create a fit. It certainly can be done, as their games more closely with the way DW played last season. So it will be interesting to watch.

Think older kids, that play another sport at Nebraka; and think about playing above the rim. -
Good crowd, good win. Great day all around.

I heard today, rumors regarding halftime entertainment. If true, it will quite the athletic exhibition. -

Our recruit vs. Wisconsin recruit. Note this comes from Wisconsin 247

Most NCAA teams can have the "been there, done that" mentality. Unfortunately, Nebraska hasn't been successful, going and winning at the dance. For some people, including me, that creates anxiety; both before and during games. I trust our team and I deeply love our team. Probably more than every other fan out there (granted that is my humble opinion). Yet given our less than stellar past, in my minds eye, we have to win each game in order to prove our worthiness to be invited to the dance. I know that is unrealistic; but it is what feeds that anxiety, right, wrong or otherwise.

I have heard Fred mention the great work by the scout team on multiple occasions. I am unsure about the contributions from Blaise given his ongoing ankle issues; but other than the current rotational players, all likely contribute.

Until the advent of this site, I thought there were only about five true basketball fans in this state. Others were casual fans or band wagon jumpers. Seriously, if you tried to sit down with most Nebraskans, their eyes would tend to glaze over when husker (or even Creighton) basketball would be brought up. Now, I know that is an over-exageration; but this site introduced me to true, for the most part, deeply passionate husker basketball fans. We can literally discuss our team 24/7/365.

uneblinst's postgame chatter: vol 16; ed 27 - Indiana

In how many games? He likely has made his 3 pointers in less minutes played than anyone in out top 10; with the possible exception of Tyronn. -
Interesting conundrum though. We may have missed a few players we wanted; but we secured players we have, and those players helped changed the trajectory of our program. The actually number of misses in the portal the past two off-seasons can be counted on the cloven hoof of a cow. The successes are significant. We now will live in a world where we land those players that we target. Norm, you are spot on.

There may also be a difference when JLaw brings up the ball versus Brice or Reink. We seem to play at a quicker pace with JLaw. Perhaps that is simply my imagination.

Just ponder this for a moment, what happens when we play a full forty minute game. We played about 30 minutes tonight. But once again, that first 20 minutes was awesome! -

In his postgame btn interview he said coming off the bench is what turned his game around. He likes that role. Goodness if he keeps that up and if CJ could find his mojo, this may be a fun month. -

Wow. Great win. That heavy ass monkey is now off our back. Great games from Keisei, Brice, Josiah, Juwan, Sam and especially JLaw!
