  1. Pretty darn good performance given they were missing three really good players.

  3. We certainly have depth, and as one can see above, we seem ro have a number of players who could start for our team; but the real question that needs to be asked and answered has not neen addressed. WHO ON OUR ROSTER WOULD START AND BE A TOP PLAYER FOR THE TOP TIER BIG TEN TEAMS? I am not saying we don't have some of those players; but those other top tier programs always reload with top of the line players.
  4. Yo-yo. Talented; but the desire is awol. I wish him well in the real world.
  5. Playing tonight at the Pinewood Bowl along with Ziggy Marley. Looking forward to a fantastic concert!!!
  6. Good for Fred...any salary disclosures that surprises you? https://huskerextra.com/news/basketball/mens-basketball/nebraska-basketball-fred-hoiberg-salary-restored/article_a6c0918c-3645-11ee-85af-938993cc1322.html?utm_source=huskerextra.com&utm_campaign=%2Fnewsletter-templates%2Fnews-alert&utm_medium=PostUp&lctg=1261827&tn_email_eh1=d09b424543be8222e4a241a7937d248958c11014
  7. Wasn't that last year? He had changed his eating habits and so forth. Perhaps he has continued to do the right things and will truly elevate his game this season.
  8. Here is my hope. No starting position is locked down yet. Simple message to each player...playing time will be earned. Your ass will be sitting on the bench if you don't put the team first. Shoot when you have a good look, make the pass when a teammate has a better look. Rebounding will be rewarded; as will effort/hustle, defense and high character. If we don't have extreme competition for the 200 minutes of playing time per game, then we don't have the depth and skills necessary to take us to the next level.
  9. Yuck. That was embarrassingly ugly. Yes, more than a bit critical. I am unsure who picked this team to play or how they sold them as a viable team; but that stunk. We could have played nearly any class A or B team in the State of Nebraaka, and it would have been more competitive. Okay, that said; I hope this trip was awesome for the ladies and helps build the foundation for a successful season.
  10. Great job. Good for baseball in the city of Lincoln as well.
  11. I am left to ponder the question; who "recruited" Boogie? This all started happening whilst we were out of the country and we had limited cell phone usage. Somebody pulled off some magic.
  12. Nice. This should be a good pick up. The one concern would be chemistry. Hopefully a great fit.
  13. Trouble with the ball ehh. https://247sports.com/college/nebraska/Article/husker-basketball-finishes-undefeated-in-spain-juwan-gary-eli-rice-fred-hoiberg-cj-wilcher-cale-jacobsen-213740194/

  16. There were a few of us willing to stick our necks out, saying he is a player. Hope he continues to stay healthy abd develop.
  17. I'm still wondering...
  18. I'm beginning to like this Rice kid.
  19. I'm not 100% positive that he made the trip. An article I recently read said he stayed home.
  20. One issue is that late games in the current set up, loses the East Coast audience. A 7 PM start on the Pacific Coast, is 10 PM in NY.
