Don't you have to get to the sweet 16 once in a while to be a blue blood? Other than the blue uni's of course

Super, giant balls on Watson, my god -
Anyone else notice that morrow never passes back out of the post, even if he has 3 guys on him? He makes a lot of those shots anyway, so it hasn't been a huge concern yet but I would like to see him make the pass once in a while just to break the tendency.

That's assuming that Webster doesn't beat out Glynn Watson for the point, but that makes a lot of sense. Yeah..that or us landing a 5th year transfer at guard. Hopefully Roby comes ready to play. We are going to need him Also, Tai Webster has played both PG and SG and he knows our system. If we want both Watson and Gill playing 25+ minutes a game, that leaves Tai 25+ minutes to back up both of them and covers your guard play (except for injuries and/or foul trouble) Is Roby fast enough to guard a SG? I really think he might be. The thing is his length will make up for any lack of quickness he might have compared to a normal SG, and I don't think he lacks that much quickness.

You know it's bad when the stretcher comes out -
Where do they find these refs? Are they homeless day laborers our something

This is slightly off-topic since it's mostly a football comic, but I love how this guy writes Tim Miles. I especially like it when he has Tim heckle Bo with advice about exceeding expectations. http://www.tunnelwalkofshame.com/

Nebraska #22 in sporting news preseason top 25.
RedEyedFanatic replied to PimpMario's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
So both the hoops team and the un-named men's fall sport are both pre-season #22. I find that strangely fitting -
I know some think he is gone with another good season, but could they at least get him listed as a junior and not a senior?

Pretty sure you meant to write that Colorado lost to Pitt by 29. Sucks to be either CU. Are we just talking about favored teams and/or teams that were comparable seeds? Because Wisconsin smoked American by 40.

I'm not worried that we can't win, just pumped up that an actual NCAA tourney game featuring Nebrasketball is in less than 2 hours

I'm just gonna hope she shows a little early so I can see her over the halftime break! Tournament games have longer halftimes, right? I'm gonna have to listen to the second half in the car on the way down to KC. Some close friends are getting married and I have to get my kids there for the rehearsal at 4. Hopefully late March becomes as taboo for weddings as fall Saturdays. -
Trying to look like I'm getting some work done this morning, but I'm too jittery to concentrate on anything. Way to pumped up for this... HUSKER

Pretty cool video. I hadn't seen it on the board yet, but I might have missed it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWZ3rZu7SDc&feature=youtu.be 4:14 PM

He did get blasted pretty good in the second half. Matt seemed pretty impressed with the collision as a football hit.

Good effort against a good team. Rivers hits that layup and we might escape with this one -

LOL. Listening to the radio broadcast, and Matt is losing his mind over the refs. Just called the whole crew a joke. -
Pavelka straight up told a buddy of mine at the public scrimmage that Robinson was looking for a hand out. I don't think it was exactly a secret. Quite frankly, I'm not even against it. We could at least give somebody's dad a job as the DoB ala Danning Manning/Mario Chalmers.
