  1. Sure looked like it hurt. He came down square on his tailbone. I imagine he woke up sore this morning.
  2. Even with the stress tho, still so much fun. Just wish more of the games were like the mechicken game and over with ten minutes left. Walk-ons need pt too
  3. oh man the stress of this game down to the wire. reminds me of 2014 when I was pretty sure we COULD do it, but experience told me we might not. Sooooo much more stressful with real shit on the line
  4. Not saying it's not traveling. Just saying that's the way it is called.
  5. And here I was worried the time off would hurt the offense. They seem to have left the defense in Madison
  6. This is mostly, just anecdotal, but I only, really notice travel being called when someone is starting to dribble sand is a little late with the first dribble. Very rarely ever see it when a guy picks up the dribble on the way to the basket. Like that rice kid for Illinois a few years back where he dribbled once from half court.
  7. Man if only we could finish in transition tonight...
  8. I remember at least one he actually threw down when he went coast to coast after getting a rebound in the first half.
  9. Just got yelled at by my wife for yelling at the tv with 3 sleeping kids. Worth it.
  10. Fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu....
  11. The zone strikes again. Why oh why did we get out of it after that big run
  12. I have to say, our bench celebration game has been on point this year. Fun to watch the guys celebrate
  13. holy roby!!!!! That was awesome, roby tried to kill that dude
  14. I miss playing ku every year, but I don't miss the turbulence. My wife and her whole family is from lawerence.it was a tense household tonight.
  15. Who called that the whistles would go the other way this half? Sheesh
  16. The effort tonight is just temendous. Sooooooo much fun watching glynn in attack mode
  17. This is totally not what I thought this topic was about when I saw the title. It seemed like something Cip would have started...
  18. This is the view from an FGCU dorm room. I'm not sure anything else needs to be said about why it might be easy to recruit there.
  19. I think a big part of the problem is fit. I don't think we have a specific plan we recruit to. I think Miles just gets the best guys he can. I think the football team has had a similar problem. If I had a team that was chock full of guys 6-6 to 6-8 that couldn't guard guards, I would think I would run a zone and pressure the ball the whole way up the floor and try to get out in transition. Instead we double the post and are slow to rotate and close out and get killed by open 3s. Then we walk the ball up and have trouble scoring in the half court. I don't think it's a coincidence that we look WAAAAAY better in games where we get opportunities to get out and run. But it can't help a guy like Jack or Jeriah when Morrow gets to take all the terrible shots in the paint he wants when he has 3 guys hanging all over him and they get yanked after 1 mistake.
