  1. Nothing short of remarkable we beat the Vegas spread handily when you look at our stats.
  2. NU 67 Danny Nee's Dream Job 61... and no waffling on this one.
  3. From what I have seen this year it would be quite possible to win out or at least end with only one more loss. If that happens, one of the "play in" games should be within the realm of possibility. Not many impressive mid-majors this year to take spots. Certainly we will be a team no one wants to play in the Big 10 tourney. Much too early to get pessimistic yet.
  4. And here's to "nattering nabobs". I share your concern for team and fans having the proper outlook during the remainder of the season to avoid unanticipated losses. However, should we win tonight I might develop a gnew perspective.
  5. Also worth watching link to Best College Basketball chants!
  6. BC, Deontae Hawkins, Norm.
  7. NU 71, the OSU 75, please note: I reserve the right to edit before Monday depending upon what I see on Saturday. They do owe us one though for last year's game. But I still may be a bit euphoric this morning... OK, I was euphoric. I'll still be happy to be considered wishy-washy if I abandoned the bandwagon too soon.
  8. Nothing negative to say about anyone tonight. Beilein was classy in loss, but what else could he do after getting steamrolled? Final question: Was the crowd chanting Vog-ner or Wag-ner? I think the latter would be more annoying to Michigan (with ,of course, my apologies to all of our visitors from Deutschland). Final note of caution: Next two road games are definitely loseable if we start taking ourselves too seriously.
  9. I suppose all nonathletes can transfer to another school if they want, so no reason athletes shouldn't be given the same privilege. Might not be as easy to do logistically as some think though with limits on scholarships, academic credit transfer, etc.
  10. If he starts it would be Vunderful but also a bit Tshiocking.
  11. 5 minutes- I'll take the under for Jordy's playing time tomorrow.
  12. NU 70 Mich 67 More Pinnacle magic?
  13. Passing of the best guard I ever saw play at KU. He was a freshman when they could not play on the varsity and the first time I saw him was watching his freshman team whip the varsity team. I still think he didn't step out of bounds on a shot that he made at the end of KU's overtime loss to Texas El Paso in the NCAA regionals. There were no replays then or that great movie about the Miners would have never been made. He also was a great player for the Celtics. RIP to a Jayhawk legend.
  14. Maybe it was all of the grease used on the ball last night. Don't believe I've ever seen so many balls thrown into the crowd, passes slipping through hands, or horrendous air balls on wide open shots as last night.
  15. Rather glad we all didn't miss this one.
  16. Everyone who lasted to the end of this thread deserves an up arrow. And I sincerely hope that anyone who left after Finke's four pointer got outside before the end.
  17. That is a creepy way to start my day.
  18. Underwood: Perfect offshoot from the Huggins/Martin sourpuss tree.
  19. Glad Jordy has decided to return. The statement sounds like it was written by the PR dept. though.
  20. As Willie Sutton once famously said "Because that's where the money is". Or maybe that was Eddie Sutton.
  21. I hope he is not waiting until Jordy makes up his mind.
  22. Or F. The phrase I never can remember which activated the robot in " The Day the Earth Stood Still".
  23. Did it soften the blow?
