  1. Chandler outplayed him. Game was close until about 2 minutes left in the 1st half (ironically right after Chandler picked up his 2nd foul). Central ended up being up 10 at half. Tupper has some nice moves around the basket. Does not do much (if anything in transition). Also defensively he had a couple of blocks an not much more. Not many rebounds Helps quite a bit that Chandler has a point that can get him the ball. Also played nice defense especially in the 2nd half. Held his ground. He is big body, but has a soft touch around the basket. Central won by about 30.
  2. I think he would be a great get. Needs some development, but this is exactly what this class needs I think. Can back up at Center and help at 4. His ability to hit a 3 would create some match up problems.
  3. I hate to be petty, but I would have hated to see him at Michigan St.
  4. I agree 100%. I'm shocked at lack of offers to centers. 1 sprained ankle away from being at same place as last year. The other thing I don't understand, is if you are not going to be a big team, don't you have to go after a couple pure shooters?
  5. Jeff Spicoli?
  6. I believe NU has recruited Paul VI recently with another player. Anyone remember who that is?
  7. I think I'd take him. Scoring point guard eligible the year after Tai graduates. What exactly is indicating that this isn't a done deal? The dude is gonig to Gonzaga. The problem with AWIII taking his sweet time is that our fairly small chance of even getting Matthews or others to visit is that a lot of those ships have sailed. What is out there indicating it is a done deal? http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/16471286/california-golden-bears-junior-guard-jordan-mathews-transferring-gonzaga-bulldogs The only reason it's not "official" is because Mathews technically can't transfer until he graduates. Thanks for the link. Wouldn't have posted if I had seen that.

Thanks
  9. He is a grad transfer. Eligible this year.
  10. I am just throwing darts but this kids dad was an assistant coach for the Huskers from 2006-2010. Sounds like he is going to Gonzaga, but not a done deal. His numbers are good. Would be a nice replacement for AWIII at this late stage. He announced he was transferring on 5/30 so maybe they have time to get him interested in a visit. http://www.calbears.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=208927261
  11. Sorry I was not more clear. I meant offered by NDSU. I thought for sure he would be offered by most of the Summitt League Teams. I thought he would be an excellent pick up by NU as a walk on. I saw him put up 40 last year against Elkhorn South. Saw him again this year. Great point guard skills.
  12. Great pick up for ND State. I'm really shocked he was not offered. That kid can flat out play.
  13. I think Jordy has another relative at Northwest CC in Wyoming. Not that I think he is on the radar, just found it interesting, https://nwc.edu/mens_basketball/roster/detail.html?id=d5629576-1863-4cb5-973e-c7f55fc48fc7
  14. I don't see the problem in the article. Looked to be accurate. Dis-heartening for sure. I think it is critical to bring 2 quality big men in this cycle. Don't know that it will be possible. On a different note, Venson Hamilton being Big 12 player of the year. Forgot about that. Very Impressive. Did not realize what we had in Danny Nee. Man he brought some talent in.
  15. visiting today per RSS
  16. According to Lee B in todays OWH NU is pursuing him. He is 6'10" 230 lbs and plays for Macduffie School in Granby, Mass. His brother is Link Kabadyundi who NU pursued a couple years ago. He also has interest in BC, TCU, Virginia Tech, Baylor. The article also mentioned NU's interest in Gak, as well as the visit this week from Jeriah Horne.
  17. Just a guess but maybe Coach Miles went to see Majok Kur 6'10" 210 from Mitchell SD. He is from Senegal originally. Sat out 1st half of last year with visa issues. Is getting attention from Minnesota, Colorado, Indiana, Utah and St Louis. (from article on Rivals 01/15)
  18. Arop and Ed Chang from PLV (class of 2018)

  21. I saw him play last night at Gretna. He is good. Very smooth stroke. Did not have a great night shooting, Good court awareness, Made a lot of good passes. Not a great rebounder but he seemed to be in the right place at the right time a lot. Handles the ball well. He did get a technical, but he seems like a good kid. Did not take over the game and I would assume he would if he is D-1 material. Would not be surprised at all to see UNO offer. Boys Towns coach is a bit of a loose cannon. Gretna has a junior, not D-1, but fun to watch none the less. Samuelson, total gym rat.
  22. Let me be the first to say he is not smart enough to come to Nebraska.... Everyone knows its spelled Nowledge.
  23. For the record, I am not disagreeing with the fact we need shooters. I do think help is on the way with Andrew White in that area. But we need more of that as well. I will be surprised if a schollie does not open up after the year. Then we could have had help in both areas (shooting/low post) with the addition of Agau and the Australian. Not happening and we have to move on. I do trust Miles.
