I think it is a serious offer. After reading the following article in the Ann Arbor Times you might feel better. He sure looks like he plays bigger then 6'6". I think he has really long arms. I've seen Dougherty and thought he was a possible D1 guy for sure. Very fundamentally sound. Not sure about being ranked higher then Akoy though. Watched hexom tonight, he struggled most of the game. Had a hard time catching the ball. The Harkin kid was pretty good tonight I thought. Centrals defense is so so good. Never seen anyone play defense like they do. Really fun to watch.
