  1. Just cause I am "that guy" I'm guessing the University is alleging trademark infringement rather than copyright as "Huskers" is a registered trademark.
  2. With all the flipping timeouts in both, George R.R. Martin would have time to finish WRITING A Song of Ice and Fire let alone for me to read a book. When I taught, I saved grading for NFL games since there were so many long breaks.
  3. OSU not quite as impressive when fouls called evenly. Craft on the bench with two, first time he has had two fouls called on him in a half since preschool.
  4. So did Bobby, hence the job change. (Ba doom Ching) Sorry, I actually really like Bobby Hurley and hope things go great at Buffalo. Funny that it is the same metro area as Laettner's hometown
  5. But he didn't tweet it so it hardly seems legitimate.
  6. Sorry Jimmy. Before my time. I'll give you one though. Who is the former La Salle player who won a professional basketball championship, and a league scoring title while playing in Nebraska?
  7. Flip Saunders would be my pick.
  8. Into Ames to battle Johnny Orr and the Cyclones.
  9. Agree. Wisconsin and Nebraska should compare favorably to Michigan and Ohio State. Michigan was everybody's favorite at the start of the season but they weren't exactly a powerhouse all year. Michigan State is like Iowa, contending every 3-4 years. Penn State isn't going to be a power for a while. The rest are fair to bad. I don't think the balance is that off. If it winds up in five years that there is a marked difference they will reconsider it, especially when we add 15-16. For once this is a plan that actually considers travel for athletes and fans. Hopefully it carries over to other sports.
  10. I wonder who UChLA will go after? They should hire Bill Walton. Listening him bemoan the UCLA program's lack this season on the Pac-12 games has been exhausting. He seems to have a problem with Howland and the way he coaches, so I say, give Bill the job. Put up or shut up you hippy In the interest of full disclosure, I generally enjoy Walton's broadcasting, I just think he got a little carried away on Howland this year. Pasch: "So you're not a Ben Howland fan?" Walton: "No. Full article here
  11. UCLA is like a team full of Aaron Crafts. So happy they got beat.
  12. Funny since Andreball doesn't get the same consideration.
  13. Jim Nantz just said Aaron Craft has not been called for a foul since the B1G tournament game against Nebraska. 100 minutes without a foul.
  14. " Nebraska’s current coaching ties will always help in landing a player or two from Ohio. But Illinois needs to be a secondary pipeline —" I'm glad someone is supporting points made on the old HHC board. Just look through the Nebraska thousand-point club and note all the Illinois players (5/25) second after Indiana (6/25)
  15. Thanks for doing this. I've got a guaranteed winner. After the first round I just picked whichever team I disliked more to win. That way I'm certain to either be enjoying winning the brackets or seeing the teams I dislike fall. Win-Win!
  16. That seems right. Mix Red and White and you get Pink.
  17. Big Country and Brooks Thompson come to Devaney.
  18. When are we getting our full share of B1G money?
  19. I put up the photos I took at the game in the Galleries. They are called Last game at Devaney as well.
  20. Congratulations Dimes. She's adorable. I'm going to post the group pics, but we lost the cord to the camera we used so as soon as the replacement cord. arrives I will put them up.
  21. Solich thought it would work by travelling the country and talking to other coaches.Dude landed at Ohio. And has been very successful there. Much more than his replacement was here. I think coaches need to recognize their level. Had Coach Sadler stayed at UTEP he might be on a run of consecutive NCAA bids. Sad truth is that recruits would rather be in El Paso than Lincoln at this point in time. And a coach trying to rebuild a program needs to be an ace recruiter (Tom Crean, Tom Izzo, John Calipari) which Doc did not bring to Nebraska. I understand the lure of the big conferences, but the appeal fades when you get fired. I hope he gets another shot at a C-USA level conference.
  22. I wore mine to the MN game. So excited it still fit.
  23. $50? Even with in-state tuition thrown in that might be a better deal than high end donor seats. I'm going back to school.
  24. In case you wondered, it's a round number. A ROUND number.
  25. I will check with Dave and Dimes, but I expect anyone ponying up the dough can buy the naming rights to the forum for a cool $3.14 million dollars.
