Look at the comments made when some fans wanted Urban Meyer while completely overlooking what went down under Osborne. This isn't a double standard I thought I was clear in my comments. Mickeys actions happened while he was employed with the university what he did was a fireable offense. That doesn't mean he shouldn't get a second chance somewhere.

Before his arrest sure why not? He was a top position coach in the country and the 1 year here his WRs performed better than any have in the program in along time. He had his chance and blew it here. I believe everyone deserves a second chance and hope he gets his somewhere else. Beard paid the price and will be punished once that punishment is served why isn't he allowed another chance?

Had all that going into this year and talented players went to other schools. Let's be honest with a coach winning 10 games a year going into year 5 the program needs an enema.

Probably not as high as if Gates or Tang were our coach meaning yeah we missed the boat on Johnson but our biggest blunder was probably not moving on from Fred and getting 1 of those coaches.

This is good but I also feel like a hypocrite because if Miles didn't have those injuries that team is likely tournament bound and he doesn't get fired.

Going to be a dog fight for us to get another win or 2 this year. It was always a thin margin with this group but all these injuries ugh. Atleast Fred has been able to show improvement this year. I'll feel confident if he can add a couple of scorers going into next year.

Ideally I'd love to field a team that plays defense like this with 2 guys who can put the ball in the hoop we just don't have that currently. If we had just gotten Johnson this years team would be a tournament team.

I went to the game. It's a damn shame we didn't get Johnson because he's exactly the type of player we are missing. I'm not sure how many games this team can win with that type of shooting it was BAD. I was thinking about this during the game. I like Fred but seeing what K-State was able to do with their new coach why oh why can't we just do that in any sport? There is nothing better about Manhattan,KS than Lincoln and yet I'd argue Snyder 2.0, Webber, Kleinman, and now Tang have all been more successful than any of our hires. It's frustrating.
