  1. It’s also worth mentioning while the Big Red has been bathed in positive press, the Catholic School up in Omaha is knee deep in an FBI investigation. Every Juco All-American we add is only a reminder that the balance of power is shifting to it’s rightful place in the Star ️ City...
  2. I’ll poke the Elephant in the room. Do all these recent commits increase the chances that Roby returns? Obviously he’s going to do what’s best for himself and his family, but if he’s not getting the feedback he’d hope for from the NBA, might all this incoming talent make his decision to return perhaps easier?
  3. Beyond HUGE!!! Tip of the cap to Royalfan and his brother’s friend...
  4. I think Arop contributes as a Frosh, & what about the Piatkowski kid, Redshirt? Looks like from here on out we’ll be Re-loading NOT Re-building! If we land Cross & a couple other Bigs, we won’t just be “sneaky good” we’ll be ready to lace em’ up & roll...
  5. The Auroran Huskie wins a dollar. They all played for the Golden St Warriors! I’d be hard pressed to name all the teams Mikki played for, but I was lucky enuff to see Hoppen play for the Charlotte Hornets back in 1990.
  6. It’s a line from the “Breakfast Club” when Anthony Michael Hall’s character is conflating his romantic conquests & Judd Nelson’s character calls BS. It struck me as somewhat apropos & funny ? last night... That being said I hope Royalsfan’s intel is spot on!
  7. If you can guess what Mikki Moore, Tony Farmer & Dave Hoppen all have in common (other than playing UNL) without using the Google machine, I'll give you a $1.00.
  8. Ok, I'll bite... Roby, Burke, Green Mack & UNLV guy (take yer pick). Bench: Cheatham, Kavas, Harris, Arop, Heiman. Thor, Karrington probably moving on...
  9. Possibly the best Basketball player to come out of Seattle U since Laker great Elgin Baylor...
  10. Aside from the numerous women in the Niagra Falls area you’ve had sex with, name someone around here you’ve “laid”?
  11. Based on absolutely nothing other than wishful thinking and a hunch, I’ll say we lock up Cam this weekend and the Big Red Fred train keeps rollin’ along!
  12. His old man graduated from the now defunct Omaha Tech (Johnny Rogers alma Mater) won an ABA Title with the Utah Stars & also played with one of the greatest front courts of All-time. Adrian Dantley, Adduhl-Jabaar & Jamaal Wilkes of the 78-79 Lakers...
  13. I’d rather see him polish that “Worthy-like” spin move hear in Lincoln than be buried on the bench with some scrub team like Orlando. Plus, he could certainly be “the Man” on this squad with a lot of outside shooters to free him up. Either way, it’s not IF but WHEN he’ll be stacking Benjamin’s as the kids say...
  14. It’s easy to dog him, but Jaron was a straight up baller. You could also argue that NIT title team, tho they woefully underachieved, might have been the 2nd most talented Husker team ever behind ‘91. On that note, let’s hope Cam Mack declares this weekend so we can wax poetic years from now about the ‘19 backcourt!
  15. I was sitting court side for the ‘95 NIT game vs Penn St. Some kid yelled “C’mon Boone” when he was right in front of us. Jaron stopped his dribble, turned his head, and gave the kid the “Stink Eye.” Maybe the only time I’ve ever seen a player do that...
  16. Here’s a few worth noting: Belcher/Lue ‘98, Jake/Jason/Nate ‘04, & Parker, Petteway, Webster ‘14...
  17. Anyone who “Rocks” that Kid-n-Play DO the way Roby does is OK ? in my book!
  18. Obviously if Burke, Green & Mack ( if he commits) are HALF as good as that trio we’ll be in high cotton. I’m just excited to see a team that pulls up on the break to drain 3’s and let’s their shooters shoot!
  19. From what the wisecrackers say on the radio, his buddy Jervay will go along way towards closing the deal. Someone asked the last time we had 3 guards with this kind of firepower, how bout Boone, Lue, Strickland?
  20. Guess I was referring to the underclassmen, the kid from Bellevue West & wasn’t there another from Millard? (Sorry names are escaping me now)
  21. Sounds like Fred & his staff have moved on from Woods. Bigger fish to fry so to speak. Just curious, is Hoiberg planning on honoring Miles’s other offers? ( Sorry if this was discussed in the recruiting section)
  22. I’m guessing this is probably the best we could do under the circumstances. It’ll be interesting to see what the rest of the Non-Con looks like. Will we get the bottom feeders in the ACC/Big East challenge? Think I read somewhere the Big East deal wasn’t being renewed.
  23. “Harry” Husker was always on the front page of the OWH on football Saturdays with a score prediction...
  24. If we get the pair from UNLV on a waiver & Roby returns, I’ll call it right now: Sweet 16 year one!
  25. And he’s sporting the Vintage ‘96 NIT champ throwback Jersey!
