  1. I saw him Sunday too. Surprised he wants to go to a game in his free time. Has to be a good thing for the Skers though
  2. I’m sure this has been answered somewhere else in this thread, but what are the main differences between KenPom and Torvik? Does one value a certain statistic and ability more than the other? Do they usually end up around the same place at the end of the year?
  3. Nevermind he’s at the very end
  4. I can’t see from the nosebleeds. Is Lloyd on the bench? I can’t pick him out
  5. Alexander is terrific. Baylor and Kalkbrenner are above average. Other than that they don’t have much IMO. Ashworth is nowhere near Nemhard. Making things way simpler than they actually are but I think it makes the most sense to put Gary on Alexander as he’s about the only guy who can get his own shot. Here’s what I think makes the most sense with what I consider our best lineup: Ashworth - Tominaga Alexander - Gary Baylor - Lawrence Miller - Williams Kalkbrenner - Mast Don’t love the Lawrence/Baylor matchup so maybe they just put Lawrence on Alexander. It’s just going to come down to if creighton makes the 3 pointer or not. I wouldn’t expect to see much of Mast in the post. He’s the kind of 5 man that Kalkbrenner struggles to guard. I hate that team
  6. Fun experience. I think it was the first time this season the whole crowd got up and yelled when on defense. The beauty of the neutral site game is the people who show up care and show it during the game. Watching Allick, Gary, and Mast relentlessly pursue rebounds all season is going to be good for the soul. Hope this gets some excitement at PBA this week because they may need it to beat Duquesne.
  7. I’ll be there as well. Going home right after or is there a place to watch the football game?
  8. Best lineup is Lawrence Tominaga Williams Gary Mast Glad we got to see more of that in the 2nd half
  9. I’d be okay with trimming the rotation in the 2nd half. Feels like nobody is in the game for more than 5 minutes at a time. Lawrence should be taking a lot more of Coleman’s minutes
  10. Unfortunately doesn’t the new President directly oversee the athletic department thanks to the bylaw change that allowed President Carter to make this move in the first place? So they’re stuck dealing with Athletics either way.
  11. Say whatever you want about whether or not Trev deserves it, but a lame duck President should not be signing contracts like this on his way out.
  12. This team still has a similar issue to last year where they need a player that can beat their man 1 on 1. Poor shooting probably made it look worse than it actually is, but they look like they still need another playmaker.
  13. Need to find a way to get penetration and kicks. Nobody is really cutting with a purpose besides Wilcher
  14. Did your comment stop “a kid’s character get dragged” or did it increase further speculation of significantly more damning possibilities?
  15. I don’t think he took your advice and said nothing. That comment was not trying to uphold journalistic integrity. That comment was “I something you don’t know.”
  16. Thanks, that’s helpful.
  17. I’m sure it’s a buy-out play
  18. The team still has a glaring weakness (that is probably worse now than last year) and that is a guy who can go get a shot at the end of a shot clock or beat his man off the dribble and get a bucket if needed. A Petteway/JPJ/Shavon guy. Walker could do that at times when he’d start at the free throw line and Griesel could get a size mismatch but the team as it currently is formed does not have that guy. We’re totally dependent on Fred’s offense being the only way to get looks.
  19. If he opens up his decision after the Huggins fiasco does Nebraska make another run? He’d be an upgrade over Ulis
  20. Creighton’s path to a national championship is getting all too real
  21. 29
  22. Let’s do a blind resume: Team A: 9-7 and 2-3 in 3rd ranked conference. 4th highest SOS in the country and a win on the road over Team B. Team B: 9-7 and 3-2 in 4th ranked conference. 5th highest SOS in the country and a loss at home against Team A. Team A is #85 and Team B is #17. I don’t know anything about KenPom but it seems like we are far enough through the season that pre-season expectations or prior results shouldn’t be weighing this heavily. At this point you kind of are who you are. Also, F team B.
