  1. Looks like I may have miscalculated the denominator. So here's all the possibilities (at 3-2 or better): Nebraska goes 5-0: OSU or Illinois goes 1-4 Iowa goes 3-2 (not sure on tiebreaker, we went 1-1 in the series, but they have a better overall record) Indiana or MSU goes 3-2 Nebraska goes 4-1: Tiebreakers if OSU goes 0-5, Illinois 0-5, or Iowa 2-3 (Rutgers doesn't go 5-0) Indiana or MSU goes 2-3 Nebraska goes 3-2: Indiana or MSU goes 1-4 (Maryland or Rutgers doesn't go 5-0) Can you verify, @The Polish Rifle?
  2. After looking at the remaining schedule, the margin looks to be far closer to razor thin than I thought. If Nebraska wins out, one of these scenarios would have to transpire in order for us to get that #8 spot: Michigan State finishes out 1-4 Indiana gets swept by Nebraska and goes 2-1 against Maryland (finishes out 2-3) Iowa loses out and finishes 0-6 If Nebraska loses 1 (goes 4-1), one of these scenarios would have to occur: Michigan State loses out (0-5) Indiana loses out (0-5)
  3. New season, new thread. So this didn't last long. Nebraska's Director of Recruiting Operations made it from February to May and now the position is vacant: http://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/life-in-the-red/frost-s-director-of-recruiting-operations-takes-job-at-alabama/article_6e7ac756-5569-11e8-8277-fb0db5bbc526.html
  4. Off topic, but is anybody sporting the Starbury shoes anymore?
  5. I'm sure thousands of athletes were chomping at the bit to get Skechers sponsorships...
  6. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh Canada!
  7. Hopefully not a Top 35 team that is on the outside looking in after all the autobids lock up spots.
  8. Almost thought he was a fish with no water for awhile there. Like I said a few days ago, this might shape up to be one of the best offseasons we've had in years. We haven't been able to build off a good season in decades.
  9. I sure hope Moos would have a better plan than that... ?
  10. Even with all the drama we've been dealing with these past couple of months, this offseason might actually shape up to be a pretty good one. We might actually be able to build off a successful season for the first time in decades.

  12. I broke it temporarily It's never good to admit that you're bad embed.
  13. Can we be irrational and chalk it up to great coaching?
  14. FWIW gifs/images aren't working after the new update either. You have to do "insert other media" for the time being. That's just what happens with system updates.
  15. Football: 4-8 "I expect this team to win a National Championship next season." Basketball: 22-11 "This team is awful. Can't win the big ones. They suck. I'm done with them."
  16. Just like how murder rates are correlated to ice cream sales, the baseball team has been awful ever since Moos showed up.
  17. The news cycle must be slow over in Pullman right now. Here's a take on Bill Moos' tenure at Washington State: https://www.cougcenter.com/platform/amp/wsu-cougars-baseball-soccer-track-and-field-rowing-tennis-golf/2018/5/3/17313900/bill-moos-athletics-director-wsu-football-nebraska-cornhuskers
  18. Interesting... is this like the "hair on the legs" test for evaluating players? "STEP RIGHT UP AND GET YOUR COLON CHECKED!"
  19. It seems that the biggest breaks we've gotten out of this program in the last 6 years has been through bizarre hires and commitments as well as finding a diamond in the rough every now and then.
  20. Somebody's gotta call you out on it
  21. I heard he was Armen Gilliam's son. Wait... Maybe I was mistaken. I think he's Armen Hammer's son.
  22. Rumor has it that Armon is actually Bill Gates' son.
