St. John's doesn't seem too worried about their weak schedule. Prepare for your tournament hopes to be over starting in December. https://nypost.com/2018/08/09/how-schedule-could-hurt-st-johns-ncaa-tourney-chances/amp/ St. John's coach: “We win our conference games, we’ll be in good shape,” Mullin said in a phone interview. Rothstein: “No Big East team needs the conference to be good next season more than St. John’s,” CBS Sports college basketball analyst Jon Rothstein said in a phone interview. “The days of stacking up meaningless non-conference victories and making the NCAA Tournament are over and done with. “Nebraska last year won more conference games then they’ve ever won in the history of its program and they weren’t even on the bubble come Selection Sunday because it didn’t have enough quality wins. To make the NCAA Tournament, you have to beat other teams that are going to be in the NCAA Tournament.”

The way the NCAA has been operating, that's probably true.

This might be a minor detail, but what excites me most about these commitment tweets is how the majority of them include a picture of the PBA filled to the brim. There's no way that's not at least a small factor in why recruits get excited about this program. GBR!

Not to derail from the current conversation, but it appears they've caught their first suspect in the Scott Frost robbery case. I'm sure there's plenty more to come: https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/police-arrest-17-year-old-girl-in-burglary-case-of-nebraska-coach-scott-frosts-house/amp/

I bet it's a good lookin' hat too.

Yes, but how many of those are Quadrant 1 wins?

Can't wait to binge watch this one.

They've got a role model in Michigan State to follow. Urban will be just fine.

@royalfan, you ready to watch some Marist 2.0 hoops this upcoming season?
-
If the standings were this way, Michigan State, Michigan, and Indiana would get selected into the tournament.
-
Sounds wet.

So what do we call him now?

This has been a pretty mellow offseason for us in terms of transfers and departures. If this is the last of it, we're in a pretty good spot.

This board sometimes reminds me of two best friends talking to each other about dating... Introduces a significant other to their best friend: "Awe, they're so awesome!" Breaks up with a significant other: "You're better off without them." Gets back together with significant other: "You two are so great together." Breaks up again: "They didn't deserve you anyway."

Yes they do. And it's a great cause too. He provides the Shim Shams with more employment opportunity than just dancing. -
