Frost is a year ahead of Hoiberg. We're also in transition mode for a higher revenue sport. So Hoiberg likely has another year regardless of the results on the court.
I've talked to a number of friends at programs all across the country. Many have said they'd be thrilled to have Frost as their coach.
Didn't work here, but he's got a landing spot somewhere. Just not for $5M/year.
I don't want to see that list. The top of the list is give Frost an extension.
That list might also include the details for an unlimited spending limit credit card though. Seemed he had no issue spending our money and leaving us with the problems.
If Frost has shown the outside world anything, it's no longer a narrative of "Nebraska football fan expectations are 'toi' high". It's not "Hey, I can do better than what he did!"
Sun Belt East:
James Madison: prominent FCS powerhouse
Marshall: Defeated #8 Notre Dame on the road
Coastal Carolina: Was ranked last season
Georgia Southern: Put 28 pts on Nebraska in 2 quarters
Old Dominion: Defeated Virginia Tech in Week 1
App State: Defeated #6 Texas A&M on the road
Georgia State: came within one score to North Carolina
The fact we're at the point of pulling these stats: Sad.
