  1. I'm confused. So is it Matt's fault that we're losing? Or Fred's? Because either way we're losing.
  2. Seems like a better thread than any to place this:
  3. Or the real curse is that we're not actually cursed...we are just that bad?
  4. My feeling was that they knew Leonhard was on many lists of up and comers. They may have been pushed a little towards making their change. Or is it to get ahead of the line for Wisconsin born-bred-and-coached, Lance Leipold?
  5. Of course they wait until Brad Davison finally leaves.
  6. Just two more conference wins this season and Mickey will tie Frost for his best conference record at Nebraska.
  7. Teams are 1-6 after playing Nebraska this season.
  8. This has been a common theme ever since we joined the Big Ten. There's been some of our rosters that have looked less equipped to compete in the Big Ten yet they held their own. Who knows, some of it may be coaching as well.
  9. We play really well when there's nobody to defend us!
  10. UC Riverside, Southern Utah, George Mason, North Dakota, and Western Illinois would say otherwise...
  11. It would be a perfect size for the Chicago Fire to play in, but I think they're intent on staying at Soldier Field. Are they planning on staying there after the Bears move out of Solier Field to the racetrack at Arlington Park?
  12. If they make it smaller, then maybe it will be suitable enough for the Chicago Bears as they move up further north.
  13. Now we'll see if they can actually fill the thing...
  14. Speak English man. I can't understand a word you are saying. An oldie but a goodie:
  15. But....but....Tom Osborne....
  16. This may be true for a non-revenue generating sport. But there's also a business element at play here. And if Trev wants to be the tough guy who expects a certain level of accountability, I don't see a "clean program where the coach says and does the right things regardless of results" being the sole barometer.
  17. That’s kinda where I’m at as well unfortunately Wasn't the entire design of this offense meant to be based around perimeter and high percentage shooting? That's the most frustrating part for me. We have never found the right combination of players to fit the system.
  18. So do you put it mid level or closer to the field? And does it run the length of the stands or just and couple or three spots? All legitimate questions. And based on the way Alberts worded some things around grandfathered ticket prices/seat proximities, it sure seems anything is on the table at this point.
  19. It's a very strategic way to open up the stadium and reduce the number of seats in order to maintain a sellout streak.
  20. Based on my personal experience being at different collegiate games (basketball and football) across multiple conferences, Big Ten included, many of these schools also partner with a local brewery to come up with their own branded beer in a can. So it becomes much faster to serve customers rather than pouring from a tap.
  21. What horrible timing... Both Moos and Frost just leave the program AND NOW they start serving their beer?
  22. Fortunately, nobody's making you buy the beer. As long as people are respectful and not disruptive to others, you can treat it as if nothing changed. If anything, the popcorn and hot dog lines will be shorter than the beer lines. But the athletic department is going to have to pay for Hoiberg's buyout one way or another (all in jest...unless Trev has ideas).
  23. Nothing concrete, just more talks of streaming and media rights looking to change the college landscape: https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/conference-realignment-amazon-interest-may-affect-big-ten-big-12-pac-12-composition-as-talks-continue/amp/
  24. Maybe a party school like ASU Only if he beats Urban to the punch!
