Only problem with your team is Banton isn't playing this year
-
Sorry, but I don't see that at all hskr4life He can shoot lights out, and can sink some ugly stuff close to the rim. There was a hook shot that got him his 8th point that screamed I......... am......... SLOW. Then the layup attempt in the 3rd quarter almost made me look athletic again. Kavas is a weapon for shooting, but him and the word quicker don't belong in the same sentence.

The only thing I can, his highlight videos
-
Not saying this a a jab at Drago, it is just facts. He is no where near athletic enough to be NBA material at this point. Right now it looks like his vertical is maybe 25" and he finishes below the rim 90% of the time. That does not scream NBA to me, but then again it is JMO Not knocking his game though, because he does have extremely good post footwork

I didn't know Roby went to Michigan?

My love of Hoiberg grows daily....

Is it wrong that I am responding to this post only to make sure I am not the only one to notice the boobs in the background in this video? -
Good Read! Kerr uses Hoiberg's play to win Game 2

https://www.lineups.com/articles/top-5-player-standouts-2019-nba-draft-combine/ This is a good review of Roby
-
Brandon Clarke participated and Roby was right there with him except Max Vertical. To my understanding Roby did that drill after he scrimmaged
-
"Roby told reporters that he has met with Houston (no draft picks), Miami (13), Phoenix (6, 32), Toronto (59) and Golden State (28, 58) at the combine." If I was a betting man and if no other teams contact him. He is going to be picked 28th to Phoenix or 32nd to Golden State

210 pounds... That is 20 pounds less than what he has been listed as for the last 2 years!

This is exactly the type of coaching I want my son to get. Let's compare. Miles sounds like me coaching my sons 5th grade basketball team. I keep trying to find him someone that can teach spacing and plays, because he is getting to a place that is beyond my coaching capacity. Tim Miles coaching

1's - Mack/Curtis 2's - Burke/Green/Curtis/Cheatham/Kavas 3's - Cheatham/Kavas/Thor/Stevenson 4's- Stevenson/Ouedraogo/Cross 5's - Ouedraogo/Cross Playing time Mack - 35 Burke -30 Green - 25 Cheatham - 25 Cross - 25 Stevenson - 20 Ouedraogo - 15 Kavas - 15 Curtis - 10 Thor - <5 If Roby comes back Curtis redshirts, Thor is out and Stevenson/Ouedraogo/Cross minutes drop. The rest stays the same

Well I was slightly disappointed we landed Yvan over Cross, but I could not be happier landing both of these guys! All I can say is WOW I am impressed!

After watching his videos and reading articles on him. Here are the things I noticed. 1. If he is actually 6'9 he had to grow 2-3 inches since those videos were posted 2. He does not have touch on his shot at all. I really hope Hoiberg can fix that 3. He has really good footwork inside the paint. 4. He has good control of his body even though it looks like he travels and fouls on almost every play. I watched closely and he is not traveling. He is a solid post pick up, I am just not sure he is going to be game ready next season? The problem is we need a post to be ready next season! I have my fingers crossed he is big/strong enough to be servicable on defense ASAP.

with about a 12" less vertical and 1/2 the athleticism... but oddly I still see a similarity

Can someone show me where Kenny Blackshear Jr. Expressed interest? I think he needs to be priority #1 if he is legitimately expressing interest! -
I'm all for it... no doubt in my mind people will say some idiotic bulls*** over there

1. Coach K 2. Tom Izzo 3. Jay Wright 4. Roy Williams 5. John Beilein 6. Bill Self 7. Mark Few 8. Jim Boeheim(based on history) 9. Tony Bennett 10. Greg Marshall Fred Hoiberg is just outside, but I do feel he is definitely a Top 20 head coach. He also has potential to move up the list as he is pretty young!

Roby - Played like he should play day in and day out. The kid is an absolute game changer when he plays like he did last night Watson - Looked like a leader tonight. When we needed a clutch shot he stepped up to the plate. It is nice that when our other stars are choking we have other stars that are there to step up. Allen - I think he needs to be allowed to shoot 5 of Palmers shots during the games. Meaning Palmer needs to shoot the ball 5 times less and Allen needs to shoot 5 times more. His shot is too consistent to only shoot it 7 times Palmer - Well the nation has figured out he can't score on Zone defense. If he doesn't figure out what to change, he needs the ball in his hands less. We need him to be the guy, and the last 3 games he has been everything but. He is getting almost all of his points from the Free Throw line, and that is not necessarily a bad thing, but his shooting % has been a joke. He needs to get the NBA off of his mind and focus on the team and Winning... then the NBA will come. Copeland - Same as Palmer... Get the NBA off of his mind as well. He is different though. He isn't playing in the flow of the game at the moment. He is forcing more than he needs to. Other teams are focusing on shuting him and Palmer down. In turn he still needs to get rebounds and assists. Roby, Watson and Allen are all capable of handling the load They need to get back to "Team" first, and take what the defense gives you. If the give you Watson, Roby and Allen then get them the ball to make the shots. Then once teams realize that those three can beat them just as easily things will open back up for Cope and Palmer. They need to play in the flow of the game, and stop forcing bad shots (in Palmers case). Also stop taking plays off (In Copelands case)
