This bums me out. I don't blame Burno for going to a gig with someone he knows so well, but I would have liked it if he had stuck it out for a year. You know Hurley would have hired him next year. Of course, having him here knowing he would leave would be kind of weird. A full year would have provided stability in some sense (recruits, specifically). Now MIles is left to scramble to fill the situation. Bummer.

We've got guys he'll share the floor with who can help defend...so I think we'll be ok with him on the floor. I sure as heck hope so...I'm looking forward to seeing this kid.

I do not think the shot clock rule change will add to increased scoring. The only thing to allow that will be to change the way the game is called. Again, when the shot clock was at :45 seconds, teams were scoring more points than they are now.

Pretty sure we only had 12 scholarship players last year unless you are counting Menke. We didn't use them all last year I thought for sure we gave it to Menke again but apparently not. Menke was on a schollie the past couple of seasons, and he helped boost the team APR in the process. Kye Kurkowski didn't have a schollie, though. Thats what I thought. Menke would've made it 13 last year then in that case. With all due respect to Menke, that was a scholarship awarded to him because we couldn't fill it. Granted at all times.

I was surprised the paper didn't edit out some of the "and stuff" bits...but alas. I think this kid has a fine season next year.

So how many offers from Nebraska does he have? That little comma between "offer" & "from" is so small, it might even be 'missing'! Actually, it should be a semicolon I do believe. No, it shouldn't. It should read (among other options), "I got another offer, this one from Nebraska." This is hilarious.... a debate over "wordsmith" tweets of a 16 year old. I'm not terribly proud of it.
