I don't know exactly what year Mathurin graduates from HS Edit: Robin got confirmation it was 2021 https://www.prospectiveinsight.com/post/pro-insight-q-a-series-bennedict-mathurin He's Haitian-Canadian which means he played in the U17 for Canada (he lives in Canada) but received an opportunity to attend high school at the NBA Academy Latin America in Mexico City. We apparently offered him in July along with a few other teams of note.

2020 C John Hugley -> Pitt-> Oklahoma->Xavier
hhcmatt replied to Navin R. Johnson's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
We didn't make the final 3 Pitt, NC State and Kansas State -
In some ways our 2020 class was quintessential Miles: pulling in the best talent and then figuring out how to make it work together as Donovan Williams and Davis are both two talented Power 5/6 players but in some regards seemed like they guys with similar talents and for our team it might have been better to grab someone at a different position. It's probable that guys would have left under Miles and the 2020 spots would be there. All of this was null and void after we gutted our roster and started over.

At the end of the day I'd say that Lewis and Miles being gone always made Davis a flight risk and his stock gives him the security that if he wants to play for a Power 5/6 team that it's just a matter of who. Lewis was an Indiana legend, Hoiberg is not. Possible that us shopping for another 2020 player was either because we knew this was coming or might also have been a catalyst for Davis to leave. With all due respect to Tibet, I'd rather have Davis.

Are you thinking the main motivation here is that he wants to play for a higher profile team?

Question about Stevenson.

Maybe I'm just superstitious but we should not have Chris Holtmann write a letter on his behalf. -

I wouldn't change your plans but note that Minnesota and NW are thought to be the frontrunners. -
Jr. is 5'9" right now. The tweet is from his father who was Mr Basketball in Ohio back in 1988 (he topped out at 6'5") Recently offered by Michigan St

He's from France. Spent his Sophomore year at the now closed Findlay Prep in NV.' 6'11" 200# Seems to be a consensus 4 star / top 50 guy Going to play his Junior year at Brewster Academy.

We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons, but that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.

The Ghost of Nebrasketball Present
hhcmatt replied to Norm Peterson's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
The question I have about Mack is whether or not he might be the best answer to the question posed overseas: 'what do we do when things aren't going our way' aka 'how do we stop a run' Just to state the obivous Legit Strength: Depth at guard Legit Weakness: Lack of depth at F/C Assume we'll be an above average shooting team and below average rebounding team. Our success then might hinge on the turnover battle. -
I'm thinking about going to youtube. how bad is the lag between this and twitter?

2021 SG Hunter Sallis ->Gonzaga->Wake Forest
hhcmatt replied to AuroranHusker's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
That rule changed in 2018 so it's more like 15 though it's a bit like a max of 5 per year. It's still a good sign he's taking an official here though. 13.6.2.2.2 Men's Basketball. In men's basketball a prospective student-athlete may take a maximum of five expense-paid visits to Division I institutions before the completion his junior year of high school, five additional visits before October 15 following his completion of high school and five visits beginning October 15 following his completion of high school, including visits related to a possible transfer. These restrictions apply regardless of the number of sports in which the prospective student-athlete is involved. A prospective student-athlete is not required to graduate from high school in order to receive a permissible post-high school visit. -

I have a feeling we do better in Wichita than the last time we were there for a NIT 76-49 drubbing

About that...

I also think we'll probably have enough speed and firepower to overwhelm a team or two going through a shooting slump
