  1. The word on the street is were going to host our own event with Tenn St, South Dakota, and Southern
  2. I think you're free to do what you want with unofficials. If you check his twitter feed he has other visits as well. Like anyone else he's trying to increase his stock and apparently has the means/juice to do so in this manner.
  3. Our game vs Auburn is going to be part of a quadruple header in Atlanta
  4. Had an unofficial from a guy we haven't offered yet
  5. Ronnie Green on what he's looking for https://starherald.com/sports/huskers/unl-chancellor-ronnie-green-discusses-husker-a-d-search-we-need-the-right-leader/article_f3733ed9-44e2-5573-856c-97b4b5b782fe.html There is no video in this link but randomly I think that Green's voice sounds like Rev. Lovejoy from the SImpsons.
  6. Fring on the endorsement opportunities https://starherald.com/sports/college/runza-to-offer-historic-nil-deal-to-in-state-college-athletes/article_516b9c4d-6f7c-51c8-9f6e-17020bd6ff78.html
  7. TCU gets 3 years of probation for one of their assistants for that thing where an undercover FBI agent gives you $6000 to steer players to an agent and then you tell people you gave the money back afterwards. https://www.star-telegram.com/sports/college/big-12/texas-christian-university/article252446923.html
  8. No one is going to bring up Curtis Marshall?
  9. He was the AD in addition to the basketball coach at Arkansas-Fort Smith from 1998-2003 so he has prior experience.
  10. We're hiring the head of athletics. Anyone we interview or hire is going to be competent and will likely have a longstanding career in college athletics as either a coach and/or an administrator. Just because of how we're wired one could almost bank on this being a former football player or coach. Ronnie Green hired Moos. He's going to hire the next AD. Was there something in that previous hiring process that somehow would prompt you to question that we wouldn't hire the best or at the very least a capable candidate?
  11. When we were looking for a new coach I questioned the ability for a NBA guy like Lue with no HS connections and seemingly being burnt out to come in a recruit, which is often more than half the job. I don't have those questions now; he would have won here and maybe one day if timing permits he will.
  12. It's coming from d1docket who gets is info via FOIA requests. I'd assume this will happen unless there is something that causes it to fall through.
  13. Maybe just work under the assumption that if we don't hire a red-head that we still did in fact hire the best person who would accept the job.
  14. Looks like the Auburn game will be Dec 11th in Atlanta
  15. I pick Halloween
  16. I'm looking around at the winning percentage of our cash cow and wondering why on earth we'd want to keep the status quo on a hire. I'd hire Grant Gibbs if that meant 10 wins in football.
  17. Said it on a video series. Bryce puts up the kind of year where he's looking like a first round pick, he's gone. Beyond that? I have lots of plans that I change as needed. :)
  18. Was squaring up his feet for the scouts
  19. Should have sent these guys to represent the USA https://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/mens-basketball/how-four-nebraskans-are-turning-heads-on-the-national-stage-of-a-rising-sport-3/article_ba478864-4274-5dae-bc07-aea22e07a60f.html#tracking-source=home-top-story-1
  20. I also can't believe that Dajuan Wagner's kid is that old!
  21. If Stewart is the guy, wonder if his availability was the driver for the end date for Moos.
  22. Seems to have received the Yakov Smirnoff treatment as in 'In Soviet Russia, job retires YOU!'
  23. You might be right. However, do you really think if Shawn Eichorst had been given carte blanche instead of being fired he would he have landed any of these guys? SE is hiring Herb Sendek or some other 60 year old who once made a Sweet 16 because he doesn't think he can get the money to hire Hoiberg. Spending money, right or wrong, hasn't ever been an obstacle for Moos.
