SE is hiring Herb Sendek or some other 60 year old who once made a Sweet 16 because he doesn't think he can get the money to hire Hoiberg. Spending money, right or wrong, hasn't ever been an obstacle for Moos.

You're insinuating that Kansas is guilty of recruiting violations. Can you prove that? You cannot and to this point the NCAA has not or else they would. If we're talking hypocritical, it would be saying that you deem one school that hasn't been hit with specific recruiting violation guilty and one is innocent. Pick a lane.

He's the kind of guy where it certainly matters what sort of team you put around him. Sometimes you have teams where there aren't enough shots to go around...if anything last year we were a team that didn't necessarily have enough guys who needed to score masked by one guy in Teddy Allen that absolutely needed to score. What I wonder is if we have enough firepower at the rest of the positions on the court where he can be the NBA body version of Thor....a guy that can help you win by doing all the things you need besides scoring. More importantly, do we have enough 3pt shooting firepower so we can turn him into a guy that takes 75% of his shots inside the arc instead of the 60% he took last year?

Maybe he stays somewhere his entire career but I'm getting the vibe here that we're recruiting JR to be one of the schools he attends during his college career. Given the recruiting class we pulled in of transfers it seems like a viable strategy.
