Just out of curiosity - what's the difference between Charlie Easley and some of the Iowa or Wisconsin guys who have destroyed us over the past few years? -

As I scrolled down he shrunk from 7ft to 6'10", but I really do not care if they can do certain things and the length is there. First off - in a couple of those highlight videos - he is playing against some absolutely miserable competition. So very difficult to judge. However, I saw some things I liked which I think work regardless of competition: 1. Lefty baby hook looked solid. 2. Loved how he seemed to have a great feel for how and when to seal - and he does a nice job of slamming his butt/hips into others. 3. Seemed to have quality hands (catching multiple types of passes) 4. Loved a couple of his dribble into spin moves. Vicious spin. 5. Seemed to have good, athletic feet on rolls and moving throughout the paint. 6. Seemed lively and looked like a basketball player (things I couldn't ever say about Jordy) -
He was on the court and got the rebound on the last possession after Thorir blocked the shot.

What? When did this happen? Didn't he play the entire OT? What did I miss?

If Roby can graduate soon, it would more than likely be in his best interest to do a grad-transfer year at a power 5 school that it looks like he'll have a huge impact on. That being said - he'd be our guy in a small ball line-up and would get ample opportunities to abuse opposing teams bigs. He'd also benefit greatly by having two guards who can actually shoot and get to the paint quickly in Burke and Green.

This is something I’d like an answer to or hear from some inside sources on. I’ve heard such different things. People I trust have shared their observation that they don’t think they like him or respect him. And I see that. But then I see certain interactions that seem contrary to that. Of course, I also see instances where I feel those interactions are fake and forced. I honestly can’t tell. I’d be willing to engage with this issue in another thread - but I’d hate for the thread police to come after me. ? (totally kidding)
-
Sure. But It it’s an internet message board. And people voluntarily come in here to discuss Nebraska basketball. Sometimes I and others don’t want to dig deep into an 8 page thread (or 20+ in some cases) to ask or discuss a specific thing we want to talk about. Dude wants to talk about player development. It clearly says it in the title of the post. If you don’t want to talk about it and would rather stay in another thread - do that.
-
I personally think it’s a legit issue. Worthy of a separate thread. We’re never going to be a 5 star destination, we will have to be a place where kids stay into their junior and senior years and can beat more talented teams with experience, man strength, and team-cohesiveness. If we cant develop players, which I agree with the OP, has shown to be a serious issue - we’ll never get to where we need to be.

You know who wouldn’t want to see that? Creighton and Nebraska. They have zero interest, incentive to, in normalizing UNO. -
