  1. Reminds me of Creighton's Marcus Foster...
  2. Love me some in state recruiting
  3. This actually means a lot to me to hear this for a couple reasons. 1. Anytime a college dude can go shoot around playing pick up, like Palmer, and hit at the clip you’re talking about, that’s a really good thing. Means they have natural skill and when you take the pressure of those guys, it’s almost not even fun to play with. 2. When I went to UNL, it was some of the worst Doc teams. There’d be multiple times when me and some buddies would play pick-up with and against players on the team.... and I wasn’t sure how we would win a game during the season. There were some really bad players on those teams.
  4. “If he would have just let me pla my game then be a robot” Coulda started and stopped there and I would have known what he was talking about.
  5. A pleasant surprise imo. Drama machine
  6. I’m not defending Barry’s by any means, but it sure seems like someone has it out for them or they’ve had a case of bad luck frequently. I went to UNL, Barry’s certainly isn’t the only place overserving their patrons. However, seems to be one of the few that gets caught.
  7. REMEMBER THE LESSONS SIR WES W OF GI TAUGHT US BRADY!
  8. That’s specifically what this board is for. But I’m on record saying that if we have a great year (NCAA tourney win), I’d give up like the next 3 as “who cares.” I want a tourney win so bad.......
  9. My god.... sounds like a bitter man who’s preparing to be let go. Dude - the fans pack your arena every single night to support you and your team. And you’ve gone .500 and haven’t won a tourney game or anything of note. Chill with the chicken little crap. edit: I was just reading the comments from the article. Very misleading article, sort of sensationalized the tone of the actual interview. My apologies. I will leave my OP up to confirm my lack of intelligence.
  10. Can anyone explain to me how to handle this level of good summer news?
  11. Dare I say I think he's a better slasher than Gill...? Don't think he'll light it up from 3 like Gill did at times, however.
  12. Much better fit for a major conference college basketball player than Biggs. JMHO
  13. Kevin Scott is looking to grad transfer from Texas Southern. Was a stud for Omaha Central (can jump out of the gym). If we run out of options and have a scholarship available for one year - KJ would be a very interesting option to look at. 6'3", 210, athletic, aggressive, strong. Scored 19 against UNC in the NCAA Tournament two years ago. Was Texas Southern's best player last year but tore a meniscus and missed the rest of the year. http://www.omaha.com/neprepzone/recruiting/boys-basketball/omaha-central-grad-kj-scott-transferring-from-texas-southern/article_5816803c-43e4-55f3-8d72-254ae07dcdd3.html
  14. I personally believe that the ability to switch defensively, with the shot clock and all the ball screens/hand-offs that happen in College Bball, is paramount. So I love the idea of a lengthy, athletic Point guard.
  15. As Bilas would say, "LENGTH LENGTH LENGTH LENGTH"
  16. I like this pick-up quite a bit - thoughts?
  17. Big time raw enough that he needs to hang around and develop, but long, athletic, and coordinated enough that it’s all there.
  18. Really interested to see if all the academics work out. Rumors were that there's gonna be issues.
  19. Great for Aguek! SDSU loves these types of dudes (long, athletic, slashers), hope he's successful. Great dude.
  20. I do not understand this one... Makes me think he couldn't handle Huggins' heat.
  21. Man... I never disagreed with you when you responded about this. And now all three of those guys are gone, haha.
  22. So I've read that quote about 15 times now and I'm still to comprehend what the relevance of that anecdotal information and the Langford decision are.
  23. Well that was short
