  1. Yep, don't disagree here. But kids and parents are way too soft with these and they end up doing more damage than what actually happened. Just my opinion from experience (and several ankle rolls myself)!
  2. If it's not a high ankle sprain, and just a normal ankle roll, the absolute worst thing you can do is rest and stay off it. Obviously I am not a doctor, but I have been around ankle rolls for the last 18 years. When you blow it (high ankle sprain diagnosed by a medical professional), you know. When it's just a roll, you literally want to try to walk it off or it will tighten up on you and cause you more problems. High school kids get this wrong all the time. I've seen kids barely roll it, it never get black and blue or swells up like crazy, and they'll still go get a boot and be out weeks.
  3. Are you being sarcastic/joking? Honestly asking… because there absolutely is.
  4. Only thing I do wanna caution people on, is that Doane does have some legitimate size and they run a highly, highly structured offense built around that size. Coach McKeithen’s a great dude and a big time basketball mind. Could be a little interesting for us having essentially none of our major bigs available to contribute.
  5. If come mid-season we're questioning Reink's toughness and ability to take blows in the big 10, I'm going to be referring back to this post.
  6. Sounds like a Masty situation.
  7. Listen I'm not going to lie - I still believe that the team that was assembled Hoiberg's second year was a phenomenal team that should have been 10x better than they were. They, or Matt (whatever), definitely assembled a squad but obviously didn't manage it. DWalk essentially being ineligible that year didn't help.
  8. I don't know what a PG is anymore.
  9. If he were two inches taller he'd be a starting PG at a mid-major, imo. What separates Sam, and I've said this before, from your normal "hussle walk-on," is he can make a multitude of shots.
  10. Hmmm. Strong disagree. I guess define meaningful?
  11. Disagree. Purely conjecture - just my opinion there's a better chance Blaise doesn't play and isn't on our roster next year than him playing more minutes than Sam Hoiberg. Just my opinion, I have no "inside info" regarding that. Sam Hoiberg literally, not figuratively, won us multiple games last year. He's no longer a "coach's son walk-on" in my eyes. IMO he's a bonafide rotation piece. Again, no inside info here, I don't think Diop is as ready as people say and the clips show.
  12. I don't see a way Sam Hoiberg is kept off the court.
  13. Mast, Gary, and Lloyd out? Hmmm, dang. What gives?
  14. Sure. But there’s some pretty tell tail signs when dudes are done going
  15. Uhmmmm - Literally when would be a better time? The photo is out.
  16. I mean looking at this it does seem like Burt grew quite a bit - good for him. That's true dedication to the program and his personal development. His eye level is exactly the same height as Eli Rice's who's listed at 6'8". So as far as looking over fences and traps, they're the same height. IDK FELLAS - THIS LOOKS LIKE A GOOD LOOKING BASKETBALL TEAM BABY
  17. The way the basketball gods intended.
  18. I expect A'mare to go the distance with his recruiting - can't see an early decision happening ala BF.
  19. Like I’ve said in other threads, I don’t think Coach is on the hot seat whatsoever. I think he has a very long leash because Albert’s likes how they run their program and the changes they've made. Now…….. if we have a bad year this year… idk
  20. Fred and his staff have worked very hard to show they value the in-state kids in the last few years. They’re making huge progress and the talent is starting to blossom.
  21. He’s pretty filled out and physically mature, I don’t see much more vertical growth happening. He’s got a frame to keep getting stronger tho. Gonna be a super physical player.
  22. This is a huge commit tbh. Lincoln and Omaha are exploding with talent and he plays for an influential AAU team, and is well liked. Great future piece.
